Chapter 11 - UH OH

I looked around everywhere and can't seem to find Komaeda. Maybe I should check that room again. It seems suspicious.

I slowly opened the room and searched in every inch of the place. Finally, I reached closet and opened it but it was immediately closed.

"Oh! I'm sorry." I said covering my eyes. I can't believe I disturbed people's heated business.

But when I closed my eyes, I saw a glimpse of Komaeda's figure in my memory.

"Komaeda?" I asked, knocking the closet.

If it's not him, surely someone would just say it.

It's definitely him.

"What are you doing there?" I knocked the closet door again.

"I'm just chilling yo." Komaeda said. He sounds nasally.

"You're crying aren't you?" I said. He didn't say anything back. "Don't you want me in the closet with you?" He didn't say anything back again.

I sat down and leaned in the closet. "Fine. I'll stay here until you come out." I crossed my arms after.

Minutes passed it felt like hours. But I'm not leaving. I came here for him after all and I left him. It's my fault.

I closed my eyes and daydreamed something. I got so bored that I stopped.

"...Hinata-kun." My body tensed up.

He's finally speaking!

"Do you want to have children?"

I choked on my spit when he said that. "Hhuh what?"

"If you do, shouldn't you be wasting your time with me?"

"Nanami told you that, didn't she?"

"..."

I sighed and put my hand on the closet door. "Hey, Komaeda. To be honest, I dislike kids. Most women want to have kids because they want to pass their bloodline and they feel so much closer and so they basically created a clone of them. I don't even want to pass my bloodline because I'm afraid they'd turn out boring and ordinary. If I say no, then they would dump me."

"If they dump you, they just want your children and don't actually love you." he said. "And having another version of Hinata-kun wouldn't be so bad."

I chuckled. "I wouldn't mind adopting children with you..."

I heard Komaeda made a weird sound for a split second. I can tell that he's embarrassed.

"Us? I-I don't even know how to take care of kids! I didn't have a family that would teach me how..."

"Then like you said. We make our own decisions. Ask help along the way too."

"Hinata-kun, when did you get so sweet towards me?" Komaeda mumbled. I can feel that he's smiling when he said those words.

"Ever since I love you." I smiled even though he couldn't see it. "Now... Can you come out the closet?"

Komaeda came out of the closet and hugged me after. I hugged him back and pulled him closer. He wrapped his arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around his waist. He nervously inch his face towards mine. I did the initiative and kissed him softly on the lips.

We heard a glass shatter and he and I immediately looked at where the sound came from.

It was Mioda looking at us shockingly. She slowly turned his shock expression into a huge grin and shouted, "KOMAEDA AND HINATA ARE KISSING!"

OH my gosh...

"Bail?" I asked Komaeda. He wrapped his arms around my arm and nodded.

Soon, everyone came here like a stampede. We never had the chance to escape.

They surrounded us and asked us multiple questions.

"Was it nice?"

"For how long?!"

"You're gay all along!"

I laughed at them nervously while Komaeda answered some question.

"Did you have sex?"

"Well no but Hinata-kun was planning to. He backed away immediately ahaha!" oh my gosh... Komaeda don't spill embarrassing information.

I look at Soda and Kuzuryu and they were looking at me smugly and teasingly.

They snatched me from the crowd and the crowd barely noticed.

"So do we win?" Soda asked.

"In your ugly face." I said, crossing my arms.

"I'm not... Ugly..." Soda began to cry.

"Not yet, Soda. At the end of the month. But we already know that Hinata is going to lose so let's just wait for it." I groaned when Kuzuryu said that. I hate being underestimated.

"He gives you flowers and kisses whenever he visits and leaves? Wow! He rarely does that to Nanami!"

Oh gosh...

"Can we bail now? The reunion is starting to become about us." I said.

"Of course they'd be talking about both of you. No one has something interesting to say. Just like me saying I opened a shop and that's too predictable." Soda said.

"Yeah and me continuing to be the boss of the yakuza."

They have a point uh...

"Can you snatch Komaeda too? He's looking uncomfortable." I asked them.

"HEY COME BACKKK! THE PARTY ISN'T OVER YET!"

Komaeda and I successfully escaped the party.

Uh well... Not really since Nidai and Owari are chasing us.

"Welcome back! We're going to have a slumber party like old times, remember?" Sonia said with a smile. "It's been years, my beloved classmates. Let's finally have a day off in this crumbling society together as classmates and friends!"

"Yeah!" Everyone raised their glass for a toast.

This is going to be a long night...
