Study partners by force

Eda Yildiz and Serkan Bolat were hating each other from the first moment that they laid eyes on each other. Ok, that wasn't exactly the truth. The first thing that they both thought when they saw each other was how hot was the other... but everything went straight to Hell when one of their teachers asked a question and Serkan answered it. Eda had a totally different opinion on the matter and the two ended up shouting each other in the middle of the class.

Almost five months later their relationship was at the exact same stage. The both hated one another and when they're at the same class people, from students to teachers, were sure that they would ended up fight at some point and that was one of the reasons that their teachers never putting them together on projects. Even if they were on top of all classes, both of them.

Something that the new teacher, who came to replace a teacher who had an accident, didn't know. Before everyone can explain to her what is going on she had arrange the teams and when she said "Bolat with Yildiz" everyone gasped.

"Excuse me, but I need to talk to you." Eda said to her after the class. "I can't work with him."

"Me neither..." Serkan agreed stopping on Eda's side.

The teacher looked at them and smiled. She wasn't older than 35 and raised an eyebrow, as if she knew exactly what was going on.

"Are you two broke up recently?" Asked and push some papers into her briefcase.

"What?" Both asked.

"We never dated!" Eda said.

"Maybe that's your problem then..." the teacher murmured.

"What?" Serkan asked again.

They hadn't hear her so the teacher took a deep breath and looked at them.

"It's a project that it will take you one afternoon. In your lives you'll have to work with people that you don't like all the time. So, grow up and go do your job." She said. "Good afternoon." She continued and left, living them alone on the class to look at each other.

Seeing that they couldn't do anything for their problem set up a date for later in the afternoon at the library in order to be on a public place and not end up murder each other.

"Girls, I told you that I can't come." Eda said to her phone having lunch. "I have to do a project with that robot.!" Said and heard Melo saying something about her future brother in law in which Eda ended the call agrily.

"... and I have no idea how I will manage to work with her." Serkan was saying to his friends. Engin and Piril looked at him and his best friend smiled to his girlfriend. "I mean, that girl is so annoying."

"I don't think that the first thing that YOU think about Eda is annoying..." He said but he stopped when Serkan almost murmured him with his look.

"Anyway, I have to go find her. Maybe I'll be lucky enough and we'll finish early. See you guys later." Said and left them behind.

"Do you think that one project is enough?" Piril asked eating her salad.

"He'll call us before 8pm to cancel our plans. Mark my words." Engin laughed.

When Serkan went to the library Eda was already there, open books in front of her and drawings all around on her table. She smiled to a guy that said hi to her and Serkan felt his blood to boil. He walked there and almost pushed the other guy away.

"Sorry, I didn't see you." He said to him and Eda gave him a death glare.

The other guy said a quick goodbye and returned to his table the moment that Serkan took a sit next to Eda.

"You're awful, you know that?"
"You remind me every day, so yeah..." He answered coldly.

One hour later and with the project going smoothly Serkan lost in his thoughts at some point. How on earth the only thing that he could concentrate was her scent, the way that she was holding her pencil and on that stupid dark lock that was falling all the time on her eyes?

Eda on the other hand was truly trying to keep it together. He was smelling better than her aunts flowers and more attractive than coffee in the morning. She knew that he was looking at her drawing and her heart was beating so quick that she was pretty sure that was the reason that her hand was tremble.

"I need to find a book." She said out of the blue getting up so quick that Serkan almost got scared.

"Ok..." he said to her, seeing her running to the shelves on their left. He saw her trying to take a breath and shook his head. "No way..." he thought but smirked anyways.

He got up and followed her. He saw her looking at titles without picking any of them and decided to check if he was right. Serkan went to the other side of the huge bookcase and start following Eda's moves. When she finally saw him her breathe stuck on her throat.

"What are you doing here?" She asked as she had forgot that he was already there.

"I need a book. Why?" He asked her smiling and saw her blush.

"Nothing..." Eda said.

She tried to move on her right when she reached the end of the bookcase but she bumped into Serkan's chest. They both looked at each other and Eda blushed even more.

"I'm sorry. My fault..." she said and tried to move but he was now holding her waist.

"Actually it wasn't. I did it on purpose." He smiled.

"Why on earth you'd do something like that?"

"I just wanted to see how it's to hold you." He answered her no joke on his voice. "And I really like it." He confessed.

"Have you lost your mind?" Eda tried to keep it together.

"For the moment that I saw you first time, but this is a conversation for another time." Serkan said and kissed her.

Eda, in clear shock took a breath who made her to open her mouth and Serkan deepened the kiss. After the first seconds of shock Eda returned the kiss and they stopped only when they both were in need of air.

Serkan looked at her smiling and she rolled her eyes.

"Oh stop it Robot Bolat." Said and he gave her one more quick kiss on her cheek.

He took his phone from his pocket and texted something to Engin.

Serkan 7:58pm

Hey bud, I can't come tonight... Project is more difficult than I thought.

Engin: 7:59pm

Use protection. See you tomorrow.
