Meeting up for the first time

Chan's POV
I was playing a game on my computer until my microwave beeped. I play this cool game , it's very popular in the city , I'm on the leaderboard with other people. I've made a couple of friends on this game , then I met this girl on there , I've never seen her before.

"Oooh my ramen is done"
I get up from my seat to get my food. While I came to back into my room I died in the game.
"NOOO WHAT THE HECK , when did the game start."
I got on a call with the other gamers to ask them

"Hey guys , when did the game start"
A guy: the game started 40 seconds ago, how did you die man.
"I was getting my ramen" then I heard a girl laugh , it's the girl I play with all the time.

FluffyBun27: hahahahaha , Crazy man!

I smiled when I heard her laugh , the other guys started talking about the game. She spoke again but to me.

FluffyBun27: hey man , I heard you lived in the city , do you want to meet up one day?
I choked on my noodles after hearing that, she asked me if I was good.

"Yea , so .. a date? .... when?"

FluffyBun27: I guess it's a date , we can meet at the game store downtown. Hehehe

WHAT!! I was asking a question, I'm not ready to go on a date that's crazy. I started sweating.

FluffyBun27: um is Chanpanman there? Do you want to go on a date with me a friendly one?
"Sure!" I heard her laugh, I guess it was by how I said sure.

FluffyBun27: I like your accent , very cool . You're from Australia right?

"Yes I am , but I moved her a while back, I use to visit here when I was younger and decided to live here once I got older"

FluffyBun27: oh that's cool well I've been here all my life , I haven't made lots of friends surprisingly, so now I get to go on a date with you.

"It'll be our first time meeting with each other, oh wow I just realized that"

FluffyBun27: oh yeah , I feel like it wouldn't be awkward though, I know I'm awkward-
"Oh same , I'm really awkward, but since we've been talking for a long time I don't think it'll be that bad."

She laughed , then we continue to play the game.
I've been talking to her on this game for a while so hopefully it won't be awkward, but she seems weird in a good way. Ahhhhhh! I'm going on a date tomorrow. TOMORROW!!! TOMORROW

THE NEXT DAY!
I wake up so early , way before I heard that dumb bird outside. It was 1 am, I freaked out so i went back to sleep.

10 am
I went to sleep for a long time , I look at the clock
" 10!!!! , I'm going to be late!"
The date starts at 12pm , 2 hours is short time if you think about it. She told me to wear comfortable clothes. I decided to wear a loose fitting shirt , and some jeans. I put my earrings on , a chain , some rings and then my cologne.
"Oh no if I wear my good cologne , it's too obvious, ehhh what the heck yolo"
I put it own , I walk out of my apartment to the sidewalk.

What I love about this city, is that you don't really need a car , you can walk to places , I'm walking to the game store now, it isn't that far. I open the the door to the shop , it's now 11:30am , I'm early but I'll just chat with the owner.

Owner: Hey Chan , are you here to buy the newest system. Money man
"Hahahah , no I'm meeting up with a girl"
Owner: A money Man and A player hahah , who is she?
" not a player man, I don't know"
The owner tilted his head confused by what I said.
Owner : you don't know the girl , what if they're not a girl
" ehhh , I'll make a friend , just kidding , that's creepy I'll call the police for that, but yeah I met her on this game a few years ago , and now we're finally meeting up."
Owner: oh that's new , is this what the young folks do now, crazy, she'll arrive eventually.
"Yes but thing is I don't know when , cause I don't know what she looks like" I laughed the owner shook his head , and tapped my shoulder , he walked away.

I just lean against the counter , waiting , it's finally 12pm a few people came in already. I walk to an aisle to look at games , and collectibles.
"Oh this is nice" it was an Pop doll for a popular video game character.

Then I saw someone reach for a game beside me.
"Oh sorry if I'm in your way"

The person: oh no you're fine , do you know where Some cool plushies are?.
I look over to the person who was speaking. It was a girl , I just glance at her then somewhere else. She was very pretty.
"Oh I don't work here , I'm just a costumer , but I could show you still"

The person: oh thanks?
" oh my name is Chan, what is yours"
The person: oh it's Jade
"Oh hey Jade , come follow me"
I walk her to the plushies , she thanks me again, she speaks to me again.

Jade: oh , sorry if I'm being annoying, I'm just trying to make friends, I've been here for too long and not making friends is driving me crazy!

"Oh that's cool, I can be your friend , tell me about yourself"
She tells me about some stuff about her , I tell her a little bit too.

Jade: crazy , I asked this guy Out on a date but he never showed.

"Oh that guy sucks , yeah I was asked out on a date I've just been waiting , I woke up at 1 am excited , I went back to sleep and came here at about 11:30 , and it's now 12:35pm"

Jade: that's messed up , I met the game on this game thats popular in the city , his gamer tag was like Chanpanman. I don't know

My eyes widened when she said that, that's my gamer tag , is she FluffyBun27 . I turned to her and spoke

" umm that's my gamertag name , are you FluffyBun27"
Jade froze and looked up nodded her head.
" oh so we're both here , let's start out date hahahahah"

Jade: oh sorry about that , why is that your name

" oh you know Anpanman , I just added my name to it. Why is yours that , is it because of your hair , it's cute by the way" I slap my mouth

Jade: thanks , oh no my ex boyfriend used to call me that , he passed away a few years ago.

"I'm sorry to hear that"
Jade : thank you, now let's go on our date
