NOT TOO LONG AFTER y/n had messaged kaiya, there was a knock on mari's front door. "oh, that must be kai. i'll go get the door, you grab your stuff," mari offered kindly, running down the staircase to her front door. the light blonde opened the door and let kaiya in, having a nice short chat while waiting for y/n to get her stuff and come down. mari was like another little sister to kaiya, they were good friends and were always happy to see each other.
"hey, n/n," kaiya peered up from where she stood by the door, smiling sweetly. "hoi," y/n said as she ambled towards the door, crouching down to slide her shoes on, not bothering to untie the laces. "alright, see ya later mimi. don't be afraid to send a text or call me or y/n if you need anything, and you're always welcome around at our place." kaiya moved out of the doorway to let y/n through. "thank you. see you two later," mari waved as the sisters walked over to kaiya's car that was parked in mari's driveway.
the h/c hopped in the passenger side, kaiya slid into the driver side, their seatbelts clicking. "anything interesting happen?" the older l/n asked, focusing on the road as she drove. "uh, yeah, i guess." kaiya let out a small 'hm'.
"i was accidentally added to this random group chat last night. the group chat was full of boys from the inarizaki volleyball team," y/n explained, not going into too much detail. "woah, that's so random. inarizaki is in hyogo, correct?" the h/c kept slouched in her seat, exhausted from the banana fish marathon from the night before. her eyes were struggling to stay open, but she made sure that she didn't fall asleep.
"yeah. they were really fun to chat with, as well. mari joined the group chat too, and i think we can all consider ourselves friends." kaiya chuckled, pulling into their driveway. "that's nice." the older l/n turned the ignition off, and got out of the car. y/n lazily stumbled out of the car and towards the front door, while mari locked the car. kaiya unlocked the front door, letting y/n go in first. the h/c kicked her shoes off and wandered over to the couch, where she lay down.
"i'm so tired," the h/c dragged out the word 'tired', as she closed her eyes, hoping to fall into a cozy slumber. "that's what u get for staying up all night, dumbass." the blonde trudged over to her room, leaving her door open and blasting her spotify playlist through her speakers. y/n bopped her head along to the music, occasionally lip syncing the words. just as she was about to drift off into sleep, a new notification came up on her phone, disturbing her rest.
she groaned as she reached for her phone in her left pocket. "i swear to-" to her surprise, this time her notifications were coming from a different group chat.
