Saturday afternoon and you had only just managed to relax, you rubbed your aching neck as you walked through your apartment in your sweats. You clicked on the TV and picked up your phone, scrolling through Twitter aimlessly. You looked up as you heard the intercom buzzer sound off and you walked over to answer it.

"Hello?" you said into the speaker

"Hey babe!" you heard a familiar voice come through the speaker, you instantly recognized the husky, Australian accent and your eyes widened.

"Dacre, what are you doing here?" You asked as you grinned to yourself, shocked to hear his voice, you could have sworn he wasn't due back for another week or so.

"I came home early to see you! Now let me in please!" You heard him playfully say with a laugh as you pressed the buzzer for the door. You quickly skipped around the room, picking up empty mugs and plates hanging around before tossing them in the sink and you checked your reflection quickly in your phone screen before you heard the front door close.

Dacre walked into your apartment as soon as his eyes fell on you he smiled wide. He was dressed in jeans and loose fitting t-shirt, a holdall in his hand and he looked slightly weary and jet lagged

"Boy, are you a sight for sore eyes" he purred as he approached you, wrapping his arms about your shoulders, pulling you into his chest and placing a soft kiss on your forehead, you breathed him in with a hum, his familiar cologne filling your nose.

"I wish you'd have texted or called, I could have tidied up and worn something nicer" you whined into him softly

"I don't care, plus you look adorable when you're surprised" he said softly as he looked down at you, smiling still.

Dacre slowly released you from his grip and wandered over to the kitchen

"Tea?" he asked you over his shoulder as he clicked on the kettle.

"Ugh, no thanks, I've been serving it all day" you said with a groan and he sighed, frowning slightly.

"When are you going to quit that job that works you to the bone and let me take care of you?" he asked as he pulled a mug from one of your cupboards

You shook your head at him with a sigh and a smile

"I'd be bored without it" you replied as you walked up behind him and snaked your hands around his waist, he spun around in your arms and leaned down to press a soft kiss to your mouth with a light grunt from his throat

"I've missed you so much" he said, his blue eyes trained on yours as he pushed a piece of hair behind your ear tenderly

"I missed you too, a month is a long time" you said as you fake pouted at him and he let out a low chuckle

"Speaking of which!" he wriggled out of your arms and walked over to his bag on the floor and started rummaging around inside, he finally walked back over to you, smiling, with a small gift bag in his hand.

"I got you this" he offered it to you and you grinned as you took it from his hands.

"You didn't have to get me anything D" you said as you looked at him and he replied with a shrug and a smile, his laughter lines etching deep into his cheeks

"Well, I just saw it and thought of you" he said softly as he hopped up onto the counter, watching you intently

"Really? You're off traveling the world and doing press releases and tours and you think of me here in my tiny apartment with my waitress job?" You asked jokingly with a raised eyebrow

"Of course, you're always on my mind sweetheart" Dacre said softly as he ran his eyes up your body and pulled on his bottom lip with his teeth making you blush a little

"Now, c'mon open it! The suspense is killing me!" he demanded happily

You laughed softly and opened the small bag, pulling out an even smaller crushed velvet box, you glanced up at him quickly while you placed the bag down on the counter top, he was grinning at you and rubbing his large hands together. You clicked open the box and gasped, inside was a silver necklace and pendant, it was light pink in color and shaped like a delicate cherry blossom flower, a small clear gem in the center of it.

"Oh my god, Dacre, this is beautiful!" you said happily as you beamed at him with disbelief

"And you get it now, why I thought of you when I saw it" he jumped down off the counter and beckoned you forward and then twirled his finger around, signaling for you to face away from him, he gently took the box from your hands and took out the chain, he lay the necklace around your neck and fastened it, you pressed your hand to it softly with a smile, he then placed his hands on your waist and spun you back around to face him.

"Thank you, babe" you purred happily and leaned forward to kiss him, he returned it softly, inhaling you deep into him and wrapping his arms around your waist, gripping it and pulling you into him as the kiss between you deepened. You had missed him so much since he had been away traveling on his press tour, the video chats and phone calls had sated you slightly but there was no better feeling than having him here. Dacre pulled away from the kiss and smiled at you, biting his bottom lip.

"One more thing" he said as he slipped his hand into his jeans pocket, he slowly pulled out a key and waved it in front of your face

"What is that?" you asked, surprised as you watched him dangle it in front of you

"Well, I just thought that it would be better instead us having to shuffle back and forth y'know? I wanna wake up next to you every day and have you there when I come home, I've missed you a lot since being away and well, this I think this is a really good idea" he said gently as his eyes were trained on your reaction

You felt yourself well up a little as you looked at him, his eyebrows raised with anticipation

"Dacre, I don't know what to say, at all" you managed to stutter as you furrowed your brows at his offer.

"Um, say yes?" he said playfully and he took your hand and placed the key in it.

You paused for a second and watched as his excitement etched towards concern, nervous for your answer.

"Okay, yes!" You finally answered, closing your fist around the key and pecking him on the lips quickly

Dacre grinned wide and let out a laugh, he hitched you up around his waist and squeezed your body to his, pressing a kiss to your mouth happily. He then perched you down on the counter top, looking at you with an expression so tender you almost melted

"Now, I've been away from you for a month" he said slowly as he slid his hands up your thighs and squeezing them with a bite of his lip. You wrapped your hands around his neck and grinned at him flirtatiously

"Mister Montgomery, take me to bed or lose me forever" you said playfully and he mirrored your grin as he once again lifted you up with your ankles crossed around his waist, walking you across your apartment to the bedroom.

"You do not have to tell me twice" he purred back at you with a devilish smile.
