Ch. 1 - Take Notice

I would like to start out by saying that I do not own the following: Mr. Young (show), Adam Young, Ivy Young, Echo Zizzleswift, Derby von Derbotsford, Jordan Slabinsky, George Tater, Rachel Young, and Dang. All other names are names I came up with at random.
I'd like to also say this is a show ive watched several times and have not liked the fact that theres a lack of content for this show compared to most shows that were also on Disney/Disney XD. I dont know if I will end up completing what I have layed out as of now, im busy with several things one, being college. I will hopefully do as much as possible in hopes of some Mr Young fans out there can enjoy something finally. With all that done, hopefully you enjoy what is my terrible story telling ability.

Good morning class, I hope everyone had a great summer and is happy to be back!" Adam says as a few students rolled their eyes and groaned being back in school after 3 months off. "I know im excited to get back to learning, new science things to learn!" Echo states ecstatically. Adam was about to be entrained by her speaking but he broke his own gaze before it even started. "Anyway," he goes, "I know some of you had me last year but there ARE some new faces in our class so id like go over the attendance really quickly." He grabs his clipboard and gets ready to list off the names he sees.

"Here." as he yawns already getting tired.

*muffled sandwich eating* "Here."

"and lastly, Echo, but I know you're here."

"Alright and with that, lets get into the syllabus, take one and pass it around." Adam gives the front rows of both sides of his class papers and they begin to pass it around. After quick briefing of the syllabus, Adam shifts into the Day 1 lesson.
"Anyone here ever seen any form of motorsports?" A few hands go up, mainly from new students. "Awesome, um, Kohl, would you like to tell the class how the function of the engine leads to energy in the tires?" Kohl begins, "The engine crankshaft is turned by the reciprocating motion of pistons. That rotary motion is turned into linear motion in said crankshaft and it attached to the wheels, powering the car forwards." Adam then replies, "Good, and does anyone know why we're talking about engines?" Silence. "Well, car engines and specifically in motorsports are designed to be to the very edge of design for maximum performance but also durability, its an extremely tight balance. Besides having a larger engine size which could also increase the weight, the fuels have different chemicals in them to make the function of combustion occur differently, thats what we'll be seeing today!" Just then loud snoring is heard across the classroom, only to be discovered it was Derby. Yep, school is back, Adam says to himself in thought.

Adam was having lunch in the cafeteria which he normally did as he never found comfortability in having lunch with the other teachers, it never clicked. Plus Mrs. Strawperson constantly was causing a ruckus when eating. Hes by himself at the moment but not any longer, as he is now joined by Echo who happened to spot him just after getting the Tofu. "Hey, Adam!" she says in her normal ecstatic voice. "Hey Echo, care to sit for lunch?" "Sure, I dont have anywhere else to be right now." They began eating in silence for a bit but then...
"You know, I was hoping not to have to tell you this because I know it can be weird to talk to a teacher about one's love life but, you know that new kid in your class, Parker White? Adam trying to remember names knowing that the only name he instantaneously remembered last year was Echo's, "Rings a bell, what about him, you can talk to me about this stuff." He also knew he was trying hard to keep from saying anything different than what he did. "Well, thanks for listening Adam, but I just think that he seems like a really cool guy and I want to see if he'll be interested in me in due time!" Adam sighed but not enough to indicate disappointment, "Well, all I can say is that I wish you luck and im here to take in anything you got to say, I actually should be on my way back to my classroom, see you tomorrow." As he was walking away Echo wondered, just for a split second, what if... nah, she brushed it off and went back to thinking of how shes going to try and get Parker.

The week begins to come and go as everyone is beginning to re-establish their old school habits rather quickly. Things were in full swing around Finnigan and it was fairly apparent. It was the first Friday of the school year and it was breakfast time, not that anyone would actually eat the actual breakfast served in the school. Though everyone was off doing their normal things, Derby was off setting off some prank on Tater, Ivy was trying to find Hutch Andersson in hopes of getting him to ask her out, Echo hitting the books, and Slab forcing nerds to give him their breakfast. "Hey, Echo is it?" a voice said above her. "Oh, hi Parker! What's up?" Echo says with a smile towards Parker. "Nothing much, im actually pretty ecstatic, I just found out this morning that my parents bought tickets for the NASCAR championship race in Miami in November!" Parker tells her, "I cant wait to go there, it should be exciting."
"Sounds like it'll be fun Parker, how long have you been into that sort of stuff?"
"I have been into it since I was a child, ive been to a few races out in Chicago, Indianapolis and here in Michigan near Brooklyn." Just as he says that the bell rings.
"Care to walk me to class?" Echo asks Parker. "Sure thing, dont want to be late to Mr Young's class right?" Echo laughs a little with him on that, "Yeah, you dont!" Just as she said that, she gave it a 2nd thought. Adam, ever since the day she fell asleep in class and had that rather strange dream of him using moth pheromones to get her to be into him, she has looked at him with a new perspective, she doesn't feel anything but just a slight more of a friend view came out of that, as she did she him more teacherly than she does now and he was and still is constantly around Derby.

"Good Morning Class! Its the first Friday of the school year!" Adam says happy knowing his students love Friday's but so does he as he also gets a break from them. Though he wishes to never get a break from Echo. Adam noticed her walking in with Parker into class and felt a sting in his chest but knows its not his place to act or say anything on the matter especially since she confided in telling him what her intentions with him were. He respects that, but part of him still wishes that nothing comes about. Based on the week's assessment Parker is a cool guy to Adam so he isnt wishing any harm on him or anything negatively. He just simply hopes it doesnt work out.
"Today, were going to be-" Adam gwts cut off by Slab throwing a bagel with cream cheese into his face. Adam slowly removes it from his face realizing he is in for a long day before he is set free for the weekend.

They school day had been progressing throughout the day Adam was walking with Derby into the lunch room, hoping the cafeteria was serving something that was at least edible. "How am I going to make sure that Parker and Echo dont wind up together without coming across the wrong way?" Derby looks at his friend, "You and the Parker, I wouldn't worry about it! Parker is cool and all but something tells me that Echo isnt his type and definitely not for long term. But then again, your muscles aren't a foundation for a long term relationship either." Adam gives him the 😐 face, "Well, im just not sure of whats going to happen and I dont know what i'd do if I had to see he with someone else especially in my class." Just then, they noticed the cafeteria was empty but for the 2 they were just talking about and so Adam grabbed Derby's sweater and pulled him behind the doors so that they weren't visible and could eavesdrop on the conversation.
"So Parker, I was wondering with Homecoming being a few weeks away, have you thought of who you may ask to be your date?"
"I haven't actually given it too much thought, im still new here and havent really thought about if I should even ask someone." Parker replies. Echo then decides to be a bit assertive, "Well, what would you say if I asked you to the Homecoming?" Parker was a bit surprised, "Really, you'd do that?"
"Sure, i'd do that!" Echo says to him really ecstatically. "I'd like to spend the night with you!" Parker smiles, "Well, thanks for that. I know there's still time until then but thanks Echo!" Just then they hug in the empty cafeteria and Adam backs away from peering over the door. "Echo asked him to the Homecoming! What am I going to do?" Derby, being elsewhere, "I dont know man, but you need to check this out, there's a mood ring! I tried it on and got orange or, 'Stupid'. Here lets put it on you." Adam silent through the whole thing. "Well, you have purple, purple is... frustration. What could you be possibly frustrated about when I found such a cool thing!"
