They had all gotten back in the morning hours of Monday and had very little time to sleep but it being Monday meant they only had 2 school days that week as then they'll be on Thanksgiving break. On the plane and car ride home, there was an awkward silence between Parker and Echo, they kissed in the airport but they havent talked about it nor have they discussed anything since then and they dont know when or how to mention it. Derby and Slab were asleep and not in the same part of the airport when it happened so nobody but those 2 know of what they did.

"Good Morning class, I hope everyone had a good weekend!" Adam says before getting slammed with a digital clock from none other than Derby who is in a sleeping bag all cozied up. "Derby?!" Adam asking what had just happened, "Im too tired!" Derby says half asleep and tussling around. Adam shakes his head also noticing Slab isnt in his class, yet saw Echo and Parker perfectly fine in their seats. "How was your weekend down in Florida, I see some of you are exhausted, anything good come of the trip?" he asks and immediately Parker and Echo become tense knowing what happened and even though Adam didnt know it was in that moment that Echo realized that Adam didn't know that her and Parker had a moment and him being her friend, she wanted to tell him but obviously not in front of the class. That thought didn't last too soon because before she got out of her train of thought she heard a loud, "WHAAATT??" come from Adam, startling her out of her thoughts. "I mean, im so happy for you guys! Im ecstatic." Adam says forcing a smile but not too obvious enough, Echo began being aware of her surroundings and has now realized that Parker HAD to have said something about them, and they hadn't even talked about it either. She turned around to him, "you told him? We havent even talked about it!" she said in a low tone as to not be heard by everyone. "Sorry, I couldn't help it when he asked about anything good that had happened, we can talk about it during lunch today." Parker says apologetically.

After class they walk into the cafeteria together to talk about it. "So, lets figure out exactly what we are before you start telling anyone else." Echo says a bit annoyed. "Again, sorry about that." Parker said. "Look, we're both into each other, the feeling is mutual but how do we know we're in this for the long haul?" Parker and her thought there but it didnt take long for him to make a suggestion, "How about we go out a few times and see how it goes and make an assessment afterwards?" Echo wasn't opposed to that, since Parker wasnt someone she prior to being interested in him she wanted to go with that plan. "Sounds good. But what are we in the meantime?" Parker carefully looks up at her, "Are you comfortable putting a label on what we are? Or do you prefer to say that we're 'Friends with benefits', obviously not those types of benefits!" She giggled at what he was implying at the end, "I guess that'll work for now." They then sat down to hopefully be able to eat whatever the school called lunch.

Quickly the next day had arrived, it was the last school day of the week before Thanksgiving break until next Monday, they'd have a total of 5 days off. Echo was inviting people over to her place for Thanksgiving, not just everyone of course. She had invited Parker, Derby, Adam, Ivy, and Slab. "You're all invited and I hope to see you guys there!" She says to the group as she walks away with Parker, hand in hand. Adam was looking as they walked away in disappointment as how he really was wishing it were him being hand in hand with Echo. "Hey man, look, eventually you're going to have to get over her, especially since she just got into a relationship." Derby tells his best friend. "I dont know if its going to be that easy Derby." Derby reiterates, "I mean, you were going to have to anyway if you asked her out or not because I dont believe she worshiped the ground you walk on like you do with her." Adam sighed and just decides to head back to his classroom to continue working on some frozen nitrogen ice cream to soothe himself.
