Chapter 2

Alexandra POV
God how I just wanted to crawl into a whole and die
I couldn't answer to why there's all these marks on me.HE would get so mad at me.He blocked the staircase so I couldn't get back downstairs."Answer me Alexandra,I wanna know how and who did this to you".Damm I forgot how much Elijah cared for people.He was always like this probably but I really wish he wasn't right now."I got into an accident."Yeah,That sounds good.Even though I don't have a car ever since I got together with HIM."Okay,I want proof and a accident doesn't explain blood between those pants of yours".Darn it I was hoping he would go.I need to leave right now."I'm on my period!"I said nervously.I figured that would work."Elijah raised a brow."Last I remember you were always angry on your period.You can call me rude but why aren't you angry now?"Crap Crap Crap."ELIJAH PLEASE JUST LET ME GO"I yelled a bit too loud.

Angelo POV
I awoke to someone screaming.I looked over at Anna and she was still asleep.I admired her for a second before I got up and went out to the hallway.I saw Elijah and Alexandra there.Elijah was in his plaid long sleeve pajamas with pants.Alexandra was in her clothes from yesterday and I was in pajamas similar to Elijah's."what's going on here?"I finally said.Elijah looked over to me."Alexandra is just telling me excuses to why she has cuts,scars,and bruises all over plus the blood."I turned to Alexandra who avoided direct eye contact with me."Well how about it then."She slowly turned her head towards us.She was on the verge of tears."I already told you now please let me leave."I didn't buy it one bit.Alexandra was always terrible at lying.Something popped into my head.Her new husband William had anger issues.He was also very mad if anyone touched his stuff.How I know this was from when he used to work at my company.I would see scenes on how angry and possessive he would get.I just thought that maybe just maybe."Did William do this to you?"Alexandra eyes widened in surprise as she looked at me."N-No..."She said in a very quiet voice.Elijah was the first to talk after she said that.I could hear shifting coming from her feet.I looked down and there you go she was shifting her feet."He did do this to you..."Elijah said.Alexandras reaction was silent."He..gets angry at me sometimes...He says that I need punishments too.....even if I didn't do anything wrong."I always hated William.He was always annoying to deal with before I fired him.Now I hate him more.I hated people who would do that to a innocent person.Granted I don't like Alexandra but that can be set aside for now.

Alexandra POV (I know again lol)
There it's out now.I told them.I told them what happened to me during the two whole years I was with him.How he would hit me if I disobeyed or if he just felt like it.How he would sometimes at night undress me...Make me do things I didn't want too.I saw Angelo whisper something to Elijah and walked back into his room."Angelo is gonna call the cops and he's gonna be arrested."My eyes widened once again."No he can't William will kill him and the cops.its too risky"I went to go after Angelo but Elijah blocked me again."That monster needs to be locked up.I don't want him to hurt you or anyone else anymore"I looked away from him.I couldn't believe this was happening.On one hand I was happy a bit.Happy that I could be free from him but I was so scared on what he might do to Angelo or anyone else."Alexandra.."Elijah cut me off from my thoughts."When we broke up you told me that you slept with another man.Did you actually consent to it."Oh I was hoping he wouldn't ask.The answer was no.I never consented but he forced me to tell Elijah that."No I never consented.He forced me and afterwards made me tell you that I did.He said he would kill you and Pippa if I didn't."Elijah looked at me.His face fulled of emotions.Sad,Anger and Regret."Your telling me that your never cheated?that we divorced for nothing?"I nodded my head."I'm sorry if I hurt you"Elijah shook his head."Don't apologize.We can both blame that monster for this."I heard a door open and It was Angelo and Anna.Anna walked towards me and hugged me.I flinched a little but hugged back.

The rest of the day I was talking to some cops about William.Eventually Theodore and Pippa woke up and came downstairs.After a talk with Elijah Pippa isn't scared of me no more.In fact she remembers me and called me mama which honestly made my day a whole lot better.Angelo said I could stay with him until I got back on my feet.I was staying in the extra guest room and currently was trying on clothes that Anna borrowed.
"Seriously though not everything has to be so formal for you!"Anna chuckled.I was wearing a preppy pink shirt with a black skirt."You look nice in pink"I shot her a glare."Do you have anything casual?You know a t-shirt or something"She rolled her eyes and tossed me some jeans and a nice blue t-shirt.I tried them on in the closet and walked out."Blue is a good color on you"I gave her a smile."Angelo and Elijah making dinner so I guess we can stay here and girl talk."She said.I walked to the bed and laid down next to her."So you and Angelo huh?"I raised a brow with a smirk.Anna blushed "Yeah he's a great guy".Her face was red and I found it funny."He would make a great husband...and a father at that"Anna's face flushed more "Oh quiet you"She giggled,I happily smiled,Anna looked at me her face was more stern now."Since you never cheated on Elijah will you want to start a relationship with him again"I looked away."In time maybe it's just when I'm ready and he's ready we will start."Anna smiled."Smart thinking.Then again you were always smart."I smiled feeling proud when she said that.I had lost a lot of self esteem and hearing her say that made me feel some worth again."In the meantime I'm sure Theodore wouldn't mind having a sibling."Anna's face flushed again "Alexandra!"I laughed out loud again.She got up."Let's go see what Angelo and Elijah are doing shall we?"I nodded and got up following her towards the kitchen.Anna walked over to Angelo and the two kissed. Anna looked at me for a second and I mouthed the word "baby" to her.Her face flushed yet again as Angelo and her talked.I went over to Elijah who just put some pizza in the oven."so pizza night?"Elijah looked at me."Yep the pizza will be done in a while."
I nodded and smiled."Great then."I glanced over at Anna and Angelo who were still chatting."I'm leaving this love birds alone."Elijah chuckled a bit.We walked over to the living room where Pippa and Theodore were watching tv while drawing."Hey sweetie pies."Elijah said sitting down.I sat on the far end of the couch and went on my phone.I hit the photos app.I saw a few old pictures of me and Elijah plus Pippa.Whenever I was sad I would always go threw these pictures and remember the good times with me and him.I was interrupted from my thoughts by Pippa."Are you and mama back together daddy?"Me and Elijah both looked at each other then the other way."That's a question for another day sweet pea."I bit my lip before getting up and going to the dining area.Elijah followed shortly after.I looked at him then nervously asked

"Would you ever be willing to try us again?"
