Chapter 2

After the 1st Death Battle ended on a good note, the entire group got prepared for the 2nd episode and even placed an order for a couple of pizzas. After two hours of waiting, soon the doorbell of the boy's penthouse rang; signaling them all that their pizza had arrived.

"About time!" Inferno said, slightly irritated that the pizza nearly arrived late. He walks on over to the door and opens it. And before he could unleash his angry words, he is instantly petrified and left speechless when he sees that Derpy Hooves was standing outside in the hallway with the pizza in her hands and her uniform; which looked a little tight around her... uh, muffins?

"Hello! Here's your pizza," She stated with the most adorable expression ever. "Sorry for the long wait, it's just really hard to get past traffic. If it helps, can I interest you in some free muffins with your order?" Derpy shows Inferno a basket of her freshly-baked, homemade muffins.

Inferno didn't care about the pizza being late and instead, he reached into his wallet and pulled out $70 bucks. "Girl! I don't care and take my money!" he said, literally breaking down from how cute the pizza delivery girl looked.

"Hey, do you have to sound rude to the--" Israel said before stopping dead in his tracks, catching a glimpse of Derpy. "It's you! OH MY GOD, IT'S THE CUTIE PIZZA GIRL!!!" he then bolts past Inferno and gives Derpy a great big hug. "You have no idea how happy I am to see your cute, lovable face!"

"Yay! It's you again!" Derpy said as she was giggling from the hug she is receiving.

"I swear, anytime I see YOU delivering pizzas, I know I can smile by the end of the day. And you'll keep getting more Huggies the more you stop by," Israel said happily before booping the cute muffin lover. She giggled happily.

"You're so sweet. Thank you for your business. I hope to see you again soon," Derpy said before she hugged him and then headed back to work until she receives a call on her phone. As she checks her phone to see who's calling her, she is later spooked to see that her boss at her pizza job was calling her. She answers the phone and she is then meet with a scream from it.

Both Inferno and Israel watch the girl stand in the hallway, talking on her phone. Then they see her looking distressed and panicking.

"But!... I was on time with the delivery." Derpy said before she starts looking more nervous. "Well yeah... but it was one time... ok several, but... What? You're firing me! But I can do better, please don't..." Then later her boss hung up on her. Derpy's eyes were filled with tears as she dropped to her knees in defeat.

Israel gasped as he picked up on her distress and quickly ran to her aid. "Hey, Derpy. I... I overheard your conversation and... I'm sorry you lost your job. Is there anything I can do for you at all?" he asked, kneeling to her level.

Derpy didn't reply at all, and instead, she leaped towards him and wrapped her arms around him as she cried into his chest.

Inferno stood behind the two, saddened as well to see this cute and lovable girl crying and broken; it reminded him of what it was like for him 4 years ago.

"There there, girl. I'm here. Come on, if it'll make you feel better, why don't you come inside and relax up in the tower? Unwind a little bit." Israel offered. "You've already given us a delicious pizza and muffins, so why not spend the day with us?"

"R-Really? Y-Y-You'd do that for me? Even though, I... I was late with your pizzas?"

"Hey, don't worry, they're still fresh. If anything, it's your former boss who's at fault for putting so much pressure on you," Israel pointed out.

"Also, we won't mind if you spend with us. We love to have ya." Inferno added.

Derpy's eyes quickly water up but with tears of joy as she group hugs both boys. "Thank you! You have no idea how hard it's been for me!" she exclaimed, crying some more.
