Chapter 7

The car ride back home was dead silent non of us dared to speak he parked in front of my house as I sat still deep in thought until Reign opened my door, breaking my train of thought I got out and pushed past him but he quickly grabbed my arm and our eyes met he opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it shut, his eyes filled with hesitation soon after he let go of my arm my face dropped but I just walked away my mind still clouded from the events that took place earlier, he waited until I was inside to drive away, I went upstairs and let me body melt onto the bed.
Hours had past since he dropped me off and I couldn't sleep I checked the time and it was midnight I placed my head back onto my pillow and heard my phone go off I checked it and saw reign had sent me a message
"Hey u awake" I was hesitant to reply
"yeh, I couldn't sleep after what happened today"
"Yeh look I'm sorry let me make it up to you right now"
"Right now?"
"Yeh look outside your window" I looked outside and saw him parked Out front he saw me and gave me a weak smile. I put my jacket on and quietly walked downstairs I opened the door to be hit with the cold autumn wind making my body shiver. I walked up to him and looked into his eyes as I gave him a weak smile "nice outfit princess" I looked down and saw my butterfly pajamas I blushed and chuckled I looked at him and saw him wearing plaid pajamas and a black Nike hoodie "you don't look bad yourself"
he chuckled "here get in" he exclaimed as he opened the door and buckled me in, he got in and and started the car "so where are you taking me"
I said smiling "let's go buy some snacks and after I wanna take you somewhere special" he started driving and we parked in front of a 7-Eleven I got out of the car and we walked in. We went to the back so I could get a cherry and blueberry slushy, we got more snacks, payed then left we were now driving to Reigns special spot I drank some of my slushy and we arrived at this lake dock i looked at him puzzled
"what are we doing here" I questioned
"just come on" he opened my door with our snacks in hand and lead the way to the dock. He sat down and placed our snacks on the ground
"come here sit down"
"Okay" I sat down and took another sip of my slushy. "I come here when I have to much shit on my mind"
he said as he broke the silence I looked up at him "how did you find this place" "I used to drive around to clear my mind before I came across this dock" I hummed. He got up and started taking his clothes off I got up and turned around My checks are probably so red right now he laughed and I heard a huge splash I gasped and quickly turned around I looked and saw he was in the water
"get in princess it's not that cold"
"are you crazy? It's cold and I don't have a bathing suit"
"just come in, look I'll let u wear my shirt" "okay" I called out. he was waiting "will you turn around"
I said embarrassed "okay okay" I took my clothes off and put his shirt on it went below my knees "okay I'm done, I'm scared its going to be cold"
"baby you're going to be fine look give me your hand"
I looked at him suspiciously and placed my hand on his all of sudden my body was underwater I got up and gasped and we both looked at each other and started laughing our eyes met and he inched closer I wrapped my leg around his waist our faces were centimeters apart I could feel his minty breath fan my face he looked down at my lips then looked back into my eyes and closed the gap in between us. We broke the kiss as were both panting for air.
