Chapter 7: So is this now considered a school crush?

"Of course!" I say, my teeth gritting together

"Ok I'll poof into the car.. the black one right?" Luke asks, smiling at me with the cutest smile ever.

"Yeah" I say, "it's the black one"

"Ok cool" he says while smiling and poofing out

Ok Julie calm down he's coming to school to hang out because he's bored not because he wants to be with you. But I know deep down he wants to be with me.

I head out to the car, making my way closer and closer.

I can do this I can go to school. I can drive. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder...

"It's going to go great I know it!" Luke says with passion in his voice. He's wearing his blue sleeveless sweatshirt with a random t shirt that was way to tight.

Luke is blushing? I've been staring at him for way to long!

"Y-yeah let's head out" I stumble out, I realize I'm now rushing to the drivers seat and putting in the key.

"Hey you alright?" Carlos asks, I now realize he's in the passenger seat.

Luke is looking at me with his dangerous puppy eyes.

"Hey Carlos can you sit in the back..... I want you to be safer!" I say realizing I've made it look like I'm a bad driver.

"Fine I guess...your acting weirder then normal" Carlos states, getting slowly out of the seat beside me and sliding in the back.

Luke gets into the passenger seat holding in his laugh even though no one can hear him.

I clutch the stick and freeze. I should be doing this with mom, this just doesn't feel right. I'm not ready for-

"You can do this... we can do this together" Luke flashes me the sweetest smile along with his hand on my leg quickly moving it on top of my hand on the gear stick.

"I can do this" I say, exhaling and pulling the stick to reverse.

"So where to first? Chemistry? Ooo music? Dance class?" He asks, he looks like a child with excitement.

"Hey nice to hear from you! Anyways we're going to english first" I say with my phone up to my ear.

Luke seems to understand and continues to walk with me down the hall.

I get to my locker and open it, gathering my books I need for my first class English.

"Ooo English!" He excitedly says, nudging my shoulder with his.

This is going to be a long day
