Chapter 4 - Physical tests

Deku's POV

I was a bit nervous honestly as I was just about to meet the rest of the class which was behind this rather large door.

'Lets just hope he's in different class...' he was already thinking of a certain blond haired boy boy with an explosive temper and quirk yo match.

Before thinking any further I just take a breath and open the door, already being greeted by my old spiky haired friend arguing with a guy I remember from the entrance exams.

'Oof course...well hopefully everyone else is friendly'

Iida: "Hello! My name is Tenya Iida-"

Deku: Ya, I remember you from the exam. I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you"

???: "Hey I remember that hair, you're the falling boy"

I turn around to see the brown haired girl from before.

The 3 of us would continue speaking for a bit before I see someone familiar walk, or rather float through the door.

"Hey" I say waving.

King's POV

I would float through the door and look around for a few moments before I hear a voice I recall from the exam.

Scanning the room for a moment I soon look towards the direction of the voice.

"Hey" I reply in a monotone voice as I float closer over to him seeing another 2 people he was having a conversation with. A seemingly stern guy and a bubbly girl. "Midoriya right?"

"Ya, I guess you passed the exam huh?"

"Uh huh, it wasn't as challenging as it could have been"

We would continue to speak for only a moment before spotting what appeared like a large yellow worm right at the door.

"Hell0, welcome to U.A.'s hero course" a very tired sounding voice would come from the 'yellow worm' which was now more obviously a sleeping bag upon a second look.

Seconds after that the zipper of the sleeping bag would begin to unzip and a person would begin emerging and stand up infront of the class.

"My name is Shota Aizawa and I and and you homeroom teacher"

'Eraser head? He's out homeroom?' I've heard a lot about him and honestly I was a bit of a fan. Though I didn't show it at the time, keeping me mostly blank expression.

"Now today we will start off with physical tests, put these on and head outside so that we can begin"

'He doesn't seem too motivated...' I thought, but maybe that's just how it appeared. I sigh, getting off my comfortable pillow, heading over to change with the rest of the students

Everyone was a bit worked up as they would finally show off their quirks and actually put them to use. Of course there was also a lot of curiosity for each other's abilities which sparked up some conversations as everyone prepa.

Once I were ready, I would make my way outside with the gym uniform on as instructed, Mr. Aizawa was already there waiting.

"Alright everyone, listen up"

My pillow would bob up and down in the air behind me as Aizawa explained how things would work.

"You will go through a series of physical tests, all of which you are able to use your quirk to further yourself. You will get points for each test depending on how you do and by the time we finish, whoever is in last place...Will be expelled from U.A. immediately"

"What!?" Several for f the students said simultaneously.

'Expelled??....It's gotta  trick to get us to try harder. No way one of us will get expelled' King thought before shaking his head to snap out of this thought. 'Whatever it is, I still need to do my best...though my quirk doesn't exactly improve my physical abilities, I'll have to get creative'

And just like that, everyone was motivated to do what they can to get points.

The first test was ball throwing and I was around the 8th to go so I got to see what a few of the other students where capable with of.

Walking up to the pitch, I transformed my chastifol into its spear for. Next the spear would begin to rapidly spin but not with the blade side ways cutting through the air.

Instead it was the flat end, which did lead to a bit more drag but was still spinning rapidly. Then took that ball and threw it up, angled sideways to intercept the spinning spear, and with a metallic ping noice, the ball hit the flat end of the spear head and was sent sailing through the air.

Once it had landed I looked over to Mr. Aizawa who was looking at the distance measuring device before looking up at he with an expressionless face which I am now beginning to realize is his resting face.

He lifted the device up showing the results. "688.7 feet"(I'm not sure if there were using feet or meters for it so I'll just go with feet)

"Wow, close to Bakugo's" someone in the crowd commented.

"Tch, he basically didn't even to anything himself" the angry blonde retorted.

After that the rest of the tests are still ahead. This will be though....I don't see my quirk helping me out in any of the other tests. Letting out a sigh I join back with the rest students, waiting for their turns.

-Time Skip-

Some time past and the many vigorous tests have been completed. It was now time to go over our results.

Honestly King didn't think he did the best as once again his quirk didn't really enhance any of his physical traits.

Everyone gathered around the digital bored as Aizawa would reveal our scores. I was a bit right to do so as, I would notice my name beside the number 14.

'14th huh? not the best but still better than 15 I guess, plus it's better than last place'

I get curious to know who's the one to get potentially expelled and see the name of a familiar green haired boy, Izuku Midoriya.

'Wow that's tough...hopefully it was a trick after all' he thought as Midoriya didn't seem like a bad guy.

Of course as he thought Aizawa revealed that it was all just a 'Rational Deception' or at least that's what called it. This caused a small uproar in the class as the exclaimed in shock and relief at the same time.

"Huh, guess I was right to think it was a trick....Perhaps I should of said something" I said considering a lot of them where visibly horrified by the fact. Saying this I get many shocked stares before the exclaim in unison

"YOU THINK!?!"

After that time seemed to fly buy as soon enough the day was already over. It didn't seem like much of the students had time to introduce themselves to each other today but I guess that's what day 2 was for.
