Chapter 7

Slinking my way through the market after the idiot wolf, I keep my head down and my ears perked.

I slowly catch up to him as Legosi runs into an alleyway but am cut off by a large Male Panda. Narrowing my eyes at said Panda, I launch myself forward as he picks up Legosi's limp body. He shouts in surprise as I tear him away from Legosi.

Panda is quick to take stance away from me, watching my body language. Cautiously, he moves his hand towards me. I let out a low warning growl and take a protective stance over Legosi's form.

The Male springs in my direction. I scarcely avoid his attack, dropping to my hands and kneeling over Legosi. Panda sighs with annoyance before moving away from me again.

"He is showing tell tale signs of having devoured a carnivore recently, I would like to bring him in-"

I snarl, cutting him off and letting my predator flash in my eyes.

I'm not letting you take him anywhere.

"Will you let me finish, you little brat?"

Silencing myself, I hear him out momentarily.

"I'm a Therapist working just outside The Black Market, I want to help your friend. Teach him the control you appear to have. Unless its all a facade and you helped him devour the herbivore that has caused him to go mad, like some fucked up date or something."

Giving the man a look of pure disbelief, I cautiously stand up. Dusting my knees as he speaks,

"Yeah, didn't think so. You're too cool and collected to be a teenager whos devoured another person."

I blink at him slowly before moving to let him lift Legosi's awkwardly long body.

Like hell was I going to do that, I'm strong but that doesn't mean I'd carry his ass willingly.

"You don't talk much do you, Kid?"

Looking at the Panda with a very serious expression, I speak in a monotone.

"I was taught that if I have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

He laughs at my words as we walk back through the back streets of the market towards where I assume is his place of work.

That or I just let Legosi and I get kidnapped by a pedophile, either or.

Shrugging to myself, I think,

What's the worst that could happen?

The worst thing possible has officially happened.

I have witnessed Legosi get punched, then talk about his feelings. Feelings about a herbivore, a small female rabbit. I feel my heart ache in my chest as I know exactly who he is talking about.

Then to see Gohin, the now named Panda, give Legosi rabbit porn when they thought I wasn't looking? Ouch.

Legosi and I walk together in silence towards the train station. The silence continuing all the way back to school where we were berated by Jack for not replying to his text messages or calls. Slinking my way into my bed, I hear Legosi sigh. His eyes burning me through my blankets before he climbs down into his own bed beneath me.

A few tears slip down my cheek as I lay facing the wall.

Who I thought my only Female friend was, and the Male I have begun to love.

They both have kept things from me.

But I can't say much.

I have kept many things from them.
