Irinka's POV:

The days got shorter, the nights got longer. Snow was falling down every single day. My favorite holiday was approaching. The whole school was decorated with the most beautiful ornaments and the Great Hall looked more majestic than it ever had. Christmas trees were all around the school even in common rooms. And the snow would occasionally fall down the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall. I was really happy to see, that our school had become a completely different wonder.
I was walking to the great hall for the Christmas celebration, when I felt someone trip me. I rose up from the floor to see Crabb and Goyle. I didn't say a word and continued my way till I felt being grabbed by the arm.

-"What's the matter loser, cat got your tongue?" Crabb asked.

-"What do you want?" I asked instead of answering Crabb's question.

-"That did not answer my question." Said Crabb, gritting his teeth.

-"It is not my responsibility to answer your questions." I said and continued my walk to the Great Hall.

-"Where do you think you're going?" They asked, blocking my way.

-"To the Christmas Feast." I said, sharply.

-"That is no way to address your superiors." Said the boys, smirking.

-"We are in the same class, how are you even superior to me?" I laughed.

-"You are a mudblood , while WE are pureblood. Our blood is pure." Answered the boys.

-"Blood doesn't determine anything. Being pureblood doesn't make you more powerful than me." I said

-"It sure does." They said with evil looks on their faces.

They came closer, grabbed my arms and pinned me to a wall.

-"Now, what do we do with you?" They asked.

-"Oh, I know." Said Goyle.

-"What is it?" Asked Crabb

-"Let's use the Cruciatus spell on her." Said Goyle with an evil smirk on his face.

They were about to use the spell on me, when someone shouted Expelliarmus and threw them to the ground.

-"Leave her alone!!!" I heard.
I looked up to see Draco standing in front of me. Which really took me by suprise.

-"Draco? What are you doing?" Crabb and Goyle asked.

-"Do not touch my girl!!!" Draco answered.

-"But, she's a mudblood...." They both answered with shocked looks on their faces.

-"Ok, I guess we'll get going."

With that they left me alone with Draco.

-"Draco?"

-"Yes, it's me my love."

-"How did you know I needed help?"

-"I felt it in my heart, sweetie."

——————————Time Skip————————————

We walked to the Great Hall together, holding hands. I was really struggling to breathe around him, but in a good way. I looked him in the eyes and he looked into mine. I could feel my cheeks heat up. I just hoped he wouldn't notice the faint blush on my face. My face was getting red at this point and no matter how hard I tried to breathe, I couldn't stop blushing.
Eventually we reached the Gryffindor Table and parted our ways. I went to the Gryffindor table and he went to the Slytherin table, but we sat down facing each other despite it being from a distance. What was happening to me? Was the guy, who tormented me really in love with me?
I looked next to me and saw Tako and Ron wearing sweaters of matching color, except Ron wore an R shirt from his mom, whilst Tako rocked christmas patterns on hers. They had each other in a hug. Wow...they get along soo well. I wish my love life was as good and harmonious as theirs. I am so happy they are still together despite their Yule Ball fight. I was soo jealous. They then proceeded to feed chicken drumsticks to each other and stared into each other's eyes. To my left sat Elene and Harry. Unlike Tako and Ron, they talked about something, laughing together. Harry then moved his face closer to hers and kissed her cheek. This made Elene blush uncontrollably. Why does everyone else have such good love lives. I looked at Cedric. He was surrounded by girls, who wanted him really bad, yet he had his eyes laid on Cho Chang. I couldn't look at it and was about to cry when I felt Hermione hug me.
-"Don't cry Irinka. He is not worth your time. You deserve better." She said, hugging me.

-"Maybe you're right. That cheater is not worth my time."

Hermione was right. Why should I waste my tears on that cheater. He knew I loved him soo much, but still cheated on me. I know I did the right thing breaking up with him. Maybe my heart didn't even belong to him....It may have, but now it belongs to someone else. I am not sure if I can trust Draco, but I'll give him a chance.

Hermione, Elene, Tako and I sat in our dorm talking about guys. We laughed uncontrollably. Even if I was far away from home, I had my amazing friends to spend Christmas with. We wore our sweaters even on nightclothes.

I just really love these moments and don't ever want to Let them go....

Merry Christmas 🎄🎁!!!!!
