War of Love (Iyu, an abused girl.)

"Iyu! Get up. I want you to clean the house, now!" Iyu's step mother screamed. Iyu began to change her clothes, but heard the stomping of her step mother's feet up the stairs. Before Iyu could even open the door. Iyu's mother throws the door open causing Iyu to fall down. Seeing the looks of her step daughter on the ground, she laughed. Iyu bowed her head and began to make her way to the door. "Aren't you going to say good morning Iyu?" her mother asked coldly. "No." Iyu answered and quickly ran down the stairs. By the time she got down there, her step dad was already glaring at her.

He smiled and got up. "Do you like your new life here?" He asked. Iyu glared at him and shook her head. She knew her step mother would be walking down the stairs anytime. She was correct. Her step mother stomped down the the stairs and grabbed the back of her collar. Iyu turned around and pushed her step mother on the ground. The step mother gasped. The step dad got angry and grabbed the collar of Iyu's shirt and shoved her out the door. There she tumbled down the stairs.

Iyu fell down head first. The pain was beginning to grow, but Iyu got up and held her head. She felt blood and noticed every person walking in the street was looking at her with disgusted eyes. After a while, they got bored of her and went away gossiping about 'the girl who fell out of the Sancher's house.' Iyu looked down with shame and got up. She began to climb the stairs when a carriage pulled in front of the house. Two girls with so much makeup came out and and looked at her disgusted.

One of them said, "Why is there a beggar at our house." "Yours?" Iyu asked. The other scoffed and went up the stairs. Iyu followed them up, but they tried to shoo her away.

When she didn't go away, the 2 girls quickly ran and closed the door behind them. Iyu sat there and waited. Yet no one came to open the door.

After a few hours, the step mother opened the door and told her to come in. Iyu did as she was told. When she entered the house again, she turned around, and kneeled to the step mother. She apologized and promised to be better. Satisfied, the step mother patted her head and said, "Come. It's time for dinner."

At dinner, the 2 girls gasped when they saw Iyu. They asked, " Mother! Why did you let the beggar in?" The step mother replied, "She isn't a beggar. She is your new step sister. Her name is Iyu. Now introduce yourself." The girls rolled their eyes at Iyu. Their names were Asami and Katami. Later that night, Iyu climbed the stairs and reached for the door knob.

She knew that her step mother had made her room looked worst.

So when she entered her room it was just a big mess. Iyu closed the door and put herself to the wall and started cleaning the mess. By the time she finished, it was probably past midnight. So she went to her cold hard bed and cried herself to sleep.

When Iyu woke up the next day, she didn't hear her step mom screaming. Instead she heard fighting. She looked outside her window and saw a gang of men punching each other.

Iyu got dressed and made her way downstairs, but no one was inside the house. She went outside and found her step sisters sitting on chairs and laughing at the gang of men. Iyu's step mom and dad were also there. They smiled at each other.

Iyu began to walk up to them, but suddenly stops herself when she noticed something.

Her family was cruel. She backed away, but her step mom noticed her and stopped her.

She dragged Iyu into the house and said, " You better not tell anybody that my family and I love watching people getting hurt. Only people in the neighborhood knows. So I'd watch that mouth of yours."

The step mother went outside, but Iyu stood where she was. She snapped out of her trance and started running up the stairs.

"I have to leave this crazy place." Iyu said repeatedly. She got her clothes and luggage and began to go out the door, but her family just opened the door. Iyu's step sisters scowled and looked at their mom. Iyu stepped back and ran into her room again.

She sat there. Waiting for punishment.

The only problem was that she didn't know what she's going to go through.
