Chapter 2

Akira Pov:
  I see that same girl walk in. Yutaka-Chan. I hear Mona saying that I should pay attention to the class today. I ignore him, and continue to stare at the short (h/c) girl, and I listen as she introduces herself. "My name is (Y/N) Yutaka. I am happy to be here. Hope we can all be friends." She bows a little. Sensei nods, and looks around the room for an empty seat. "That back desk next to that boy with the black hair should be fine." Yutaka nods, and heads towards me. She greets me with a wave, and I smile as she sits down. The other students whisper things about us, and I can feel my face slightly heat up at some of the comments.

~After class cause who likes boring lectures~

The bell rings, and everyone stands up and heads to lunch. I feel someone tap my shoulder. "Kurusu-Kun, is it okay if I eat lunch with you?" Yutaka says. I nod, and I lead her to the table. "Hey, isn't that Yutaka?" Ann says. "Yes. She wanted to join us, and it's the least I could to for her. She did basically save me from being bullied earlier." I hear a slight squeak coming from Yutaka. "I love your shirt!" She says, directing her excitement towards Ryuji. He raises an eye brow. "Really? I didn't think you'd be into this." She nods."I don't tell my father anything I'm into." She giggles slightly.

Ryuji chuckles. "Well damn. I think I'm gonna enjoy spending time with her Akira. She's cool." Yutaka nods in excitement. "Well..I guess you can join us for lunch then." I say smiling. "But..I have a question for you, Kurusu." She blinks, as she says this. I tilt my head, letting her ask her question. "Why do people bully you? Your a very nice person, and I don't see anything wrong with you at all." I nod and tell her why. After I tell her, I see a bit of rage in her eyes. "You didn't do anything though!" She says, hitting the table. I put my hand on her shoulder, which tells her that it's okay. "It's too late to do anything now. I'm on probation for the year." She takes a breath. "Fine." She says and lays her head on the table.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" Ann says. Yutaka shakes her head. I have to save my hunger for later tonight. Father is hosting a gathering for his business. I wish I could invite you guys, but it'll be boring. And it's only people who work for my father." She says sighing. I tilt my head."Thats a bummer. We we're gonna go see a movie, and was wondering if you wanted to go see it. But that's fine." Ryuji says smiling slightly. "You guys haven't even introduced yourselves to her yet." I say giggling. They all introduce themselves, and the bell signaling lunch dismissal has rung. We all head back to class. We sit in our seats, and I get a very strange idea in my mind.

The thing is, I haven't even known the girl that long, and I can't stop my heart from pounding in my chest. I asked Ann about it, and she says that's it's love. How could I fall in love with a person so easily you ask? Well, I am guessing it is because she was the only one other than my friends in the phantom thieves to help me like that. I said she was adorable, and meant it. Every time I go back to LeBlanc with the others, the tease me about having a "Crush" on Yutaka. She probably wouldn't even accept my feelings. She didn't even give us permission to call her (Y/N) yet. I sigh, as I shake my head from my thoughts as I hear my name being called.

  "Kurusu!" I jolt in my seat. Yutaka is pointing at the board, and as I look I see a white piece of chalk flying at me. I instantly dodge it. "What's the answer to my question?!" Mr. Usahimaru yells. I try thinking of an answer. I hear Yutaka cough, and I glance at her. She has "1776" written on her hand. "Um....1776, sir." I say. He grunts. "Good that you're paying attention. Don't let it happen again." I nod, praising Yutaka for her help. She winks at me, which tugs at my heart strings. 'Adorable' is all I can think of at the moment.

*Ring*

The bell for classes end signals all the students. I wait for the others, as usual. I look outside to see Yutaka getting into a vehicle. I watch the vehicle as it pulls out of the drive way of the school, and sign out loud. "What's wrong Akira? Do you miss your adorable kitten?" Ryuji teases me. Kitten? My face heats up as I imagine her as a neko sitting in my lap. Ann giggles,"Looks like he does, Ryuji." I push up my glasses, even though they aren't falling off my face. "I have no idea what you guys are talking about." I say, confidence laced in my voice. "Hehe. You know, your crush on Yutaka?" Ann squeals."I totally ship it! I want Akira and (Y/N) to get married soon!" My face heats up even more, and I walk out of the room. I hear the others giggle.
