"at rest"

               A few days after the nathalie incident, she was barried in a cemetery, it was the same one where the rest of her family was buried at. The ceremony didn't hold to many people, gabriel, adrian, and felix were all there morning the loss of a loved one. Once the ceremony was done, everyone left except gabriel and felix, adrian, it rained the whole time, so gabriel and the others were soaking wet. Gabriel, adrian, and felix stared at the grave, after the wish and death of nathalie was made, Emile went missing. Gabriel knew from the start that something was wrong with Emile, she acted strange, but gabriel didn't care, so this death was probably his fault for trusting Emile, but it to late now. Gabriel started to cry, he took out the jewelry, nathalie had given him before she died, and put them on, felix and adrian were confused as to where gabriel got them from, but they didn't say anything. Gabriel finally said, "we love you nathalie, and we think you for everything you did, you sacrificed a lot for us and we're forever grateful for that, you wont be forgotten, and we will never stop loving you, you didn't deserve to die, but we thank you for everything you did to help us, we love you, and we hope your at peace, goodbye nathalie......", gabriel, adrian, and felix left. After they left, two wolves came out, widow and marrinette, they looked at the grave and sighed, widow turned to marrinette who was crying, she turned away and said, "I thank you, and adrian for sticking with me and nathalie to the end, thank you for everything,.....huh you deserve to be happy to marrinette." Marrinette looked at widow confused, and she said quietly, "what?" Widow took a deep breath and said, "I can turn you back into a human...." marrinette was in shock, "you can what!!!" Widow nodded and touched marrinettes nose, marrinette instantly turned into a human, she looked at marrinette and said, "oh thank you widow, I- uhhh widow!!!" Marrinette looked at the fading widow, widow looked at her with soft eyes and said sweetly, "its time for me to be at peace marrinette, I've been around for centuries, protecting pups like you, and I think its time for me to rest, I'll miss you, goodbye marrinette", "goodbye widow" marrinette said tearing up, "I'll always be with you watching, goodbye" widow said before fading away.
15 years later
"If there anything I've learned it is to be good and be grateful for the ones you care about, or else you might lose them. Although this isn't the happy ending I would've liked, I'm still grateful for the life I've got. Its been 15 years, and I'm a grandpa, my two sons moved out, and started families, I have visited nathalies grave, for 15 years, and I wish her the beat of life, as for Emile she still has not been found, but I've had the best life and i cherish each second, I love my life and I'm grateful for it.
