A sound rises from the dark,
A small, quiet sound
With a purpose so loud
It could break the dark that holds it.
Within this sound
It whispers all around
A story so grand
It could shock the one who told it.
But no one knows
Who made this sound
With their heart outbound
There is no soul who could break it
Who sparks all the souls
Sets all their dreams abound
Who's message is sure to astound
All of the people who heard it.

A cold wind washes over us,
It chills us all down to the bone.
No source of warmth is in sight,
There's no possible way
To make it through the night,
Unless a miracle swept the land,
And brought the sun out
Into the night sky, we can't survive.
We'll never see tomorrow's light.
Just as we lost all hope,
Out of the water came a light,
And we looked up,
The moon was very bright
The darkness is conquered,
And we once again have hope,
And enough warmth to see
Tomorrow's light.

Stop, wait a second,
I'm getting that thought,
And I swear that this time,
It won't be forgot.
I'll write it down,
I'll tell all my friends,
Stop, wait a second,
I forgot it again.
