Aurelia didn't go to school for the next few days. She heard knocks on her window, she just shut her blinds.

One day her mom opened the window for some fresh air. Aurelia didn't know, Jordan climbed through her window and hid in her closet. When she fully fell asleep, he joined her. He thought she needed a warm embrace.

When he woke he dropped on the floor and fell asleep. Aurelia awoke just after that.

"Good morning dreadful world," she said then gasped, "wha- how- what are you doing here?"

"Can I explain what happened earlier?" Jordan says briefly, "first of all, Estelle has two sides. No matter what side you're on you will always see both. Second, she did everything. She even bribed the bus driver to go to my house first."

Aurelia had a tear in her eye. She ran up and hugged him and cried on his shoulder.

"Oh, and one more thing," Jordan said, "on that day. I wanted to ask you out."

Aurelia's heart stopped beating. No one has ever loved her, but that was changing.

"Oh my god yes!" She shrieked with joy.

Instead of calling from downstairs, this time her mother came upstairs. Aurelia didn't hear her coming.

"Hey what-," her mother paused with shock, "there's a boy?"

"Uhh, yes?" Aurelia replied.

"I don't think we formally met," Jordan says breaking the silence, "I'm Jordan, her friend."

Aurelia gave him a look.

"Well, I guess it's official now," Jordan said.

"So he's your boyfriend?" her mom asked.

Aurelia nodded.

"I'll leave y'all alone," She said while winking. She walked away.

"Did she just-?" Aurelia says in shock, "Is she just ok with that?"

Jordan shrugged.

"Since we are ditching school today," Jordan said, "what do you wanna do today?"

"Wait," Aurelia said, "I wanna meet your parents before something happens."

Jordan said fine, then they rode bikes down to his house, which was only a few blocks away.

"Forewarning," Jordan said, "my dad might be home."

They walk into the house, there's glass shattered around the halls.

"He is home," Jordan whispered, "I'll be right back."

Aurelia heard mumbling, then a mom and dad came out.

"Hi darling," his mom said, "you must be his new girlfriend."

"Yes," Aurelia said with relief.

The dad stayed silent.

"You are welcome here anytime!" the mom said with joy.

Aurelia started feeling uneasy, tipsy even.
They left that house. Then she couldn't stand up anymore. Jordan called her mom to pick her up.

"What happened to my baby?" her mother asked.

"She said she felt sick," Jordan replied, "I didn't feed her or anything."

Her mother drove off. Aurelia had the flu. But, she made sure to leave the window open.
