Redemption

Chapter One

"I thought he was joking!" Jay complained, flying his dragon after Nya. "They're seriously alive?"

"Master Wu isn't the one who pulls pranks, that's you and Cole." Nya smirked.

"Kai and Lloyd do it too! Remember when Lloyd replaced Kai's hair gel with toothpaste?"

"And by the time he realized it was toothpaste it was too late." Nya snickered. "Yeah. I remember. I also remember him getting mad and pranking Cole instead of Lloyd, thinking it was him."

"Yeah, the little runt got away with it." Jay landed his dragon and got off, holding the door open for Nya. He walked in after Nya and they both went to the commissioner's office.

"Good afternoon Nya! Good afternoon Jay. I take it you're here for Harumi and Morro?"

Nya nodded. "We're ready."

The commissioner grabbed some keys and left the room for a few minutes, returning with Morro and Harumi. They had rope around their wrists and glared at the two ninja before looking away.

Now was when Nya and Jay realized how small Morro really was. He was shorter than them, thin, and pale. It didn't look like he'd slept or ate since he became human. He'd really need some help, considering how poor his health looked.

Harumi didn't look to good herself. After being in the hospital to be treated she was almost as skinny as Morro and pale. Her red tattoo was still there but it was slightly faded, and she had a scar on her leg. She was taller than Morro and Jay and probably the same height as Nya.

"Thanks for keeping them here, Commissioner. We'll take it from here." Jay took Harumi's rope that was around her wrist and Nya took Morro's, leading them outside. Jay summoned his dragon and helped Harumi on, Nya did the same with Morro. They lifted up and flew in silence.

Nya noticed Morro was holding onto her tightly, when she took a look at him she noticed his eyes were shut as they flew.

"Are you afraid of heights?" She asked after a few minutes.

"Shut up."

Nya didn't say anything else, flying towards the Monastery.

Harumi was holding on tightly, but not as tight as Morro. Her eyes were open as she watched the ground pass by, she seemed very interested in her surroundings.

"It's a nice view, right?" Jay asked her.

Harumi shrugged but didn't say no.

Nya landed at the Monastery and helped Morro off the dragon, as did Jay and Harumi.

The ninja led the two villains inside, seeing Wu waiting for them.

"Hey Master Wu!" Jay grinned. "We got them!"

"As I can see, Jay. Zane has finished setting up their rooms, go ahead and take them in."

Nya and Jay led them to their rooms, opening the doors. Morro went into his without any struggling, Nya took off his ropes and left to get him something to eat.

Harumi was a bit more stubborn, but Jay was able to remove her ropes and follow Nya. "Nya! What are we gonna do with them?"

"I don't know." Nya prepared Morro ramen as Jay grabbed another packet of it. "We have to do something, we can't just have them in their rooms forever."

"Yeah, but what can we do? It's Harumi and Morro! If we let them go they could cause trouble again!"

"How?" Nya finished Morro's noodles and added some flavoring. "The realm crystal's destroyed, so no more preeminent. The Oni masks were also destroyed, and Garmadon's already resurrected so it's not like she can get him back."

"We don't know that." Jay finished Harumi's ramen and stirred in the flavoring. "She could find Garmadon and do First Spinjitzu Master knows what."

"But what do we do with them? If we can't let them go then what?"

Nya put the bowl on a plate and put a spoon in it. "We'll have to figure that out eventually. Come on, they need to eat."

Jay grabbed a plate and put Harumi's bowl on it, adding a spoon. "Okay, let's go." He follows Nya to the rooms, going inside.

Morro was sitting calmly on his bed when Nya walked in, she handed him the plate and he looked at it for a second before eating slowly. He wasn't used to eating since he was dead for so long. He seemed to appreciate it, but didn't say anything, giving Nya the plate and spoon after he was done.

"Do you need anything else?" Nya asked.

He shook his head in silence, not looking at Nya. She took that as her ticket to leave, he probably didn't want her in there.

Harumi was pacing around the room when Jay walked in, she stopped moving once she saw him. Jay showed her the plate and she took it, sitting down in a chair to eat.

"It's good." She gave him the empty bowl and he smiled.

"Of course it is! It's ramen!" He grinned.

"How long will we be here?" Harumi asked.

Jay shrugged. "I dunno. We'll have to wait and see what happens. You aren't a prisoner here, just, we'll keep an eye on you."

"So, like a prison."

Jay nervously laughed and scratched the back of his neck. "Well, I wouldn't say a prison-"

"I'm kept in this room that will probably be locked, not allowed to leave the monastery or do things on my own. A prison." She looked away from Jay out the window, so Jay took that as his time to leave.

He met up with Nya outside their doors and closed them. "She compared it to a prison."

"He wouldn't say a word to me. He just sat there and ate, I'm wondering what he's thinking."

Jay sighed, going into the kitchen to leave their dishes for Zane to clean. "We'll figure something out to do, we have to."
