CHANCITY was still up when it was 4 am, so she decided to put on a band tee and jeans. She chose out a "Panic! At The Disco" shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, along with a pair of white converse. She had texted her friend, Alex a few minutes ago, asking if she could come over to his house. People, such as Chancity's other friends and Alex's too, always teased saying he liked her, which she wasn't sure if it was true or not. She picked up her phone and keys, locking her homes door behind her.
She jogged down the steps to the lobby and walked out to her car. Alex lived a few neighborhoods down, in what looks like a rich people place, which it probably is anyways. Chancity could live there, but with it only being her, she chose the apartment life. She parked in his driveway, beside his car, and got out, locking her car. Chancity had texted him and walked into his house, which was big enough for a large family, but only Alex lived there.
Alex was in his music room, which was a large bedroom on the second floor. When he saw her he came up to her and hugged her.
"Been forever" he smiled, and Chancity could only work up the energy to nod. She never wanted to seem too happy with him, but not to upset. She liked to be the 'usual' around him, just to keep herself from finding some feeling inside of her. It was the typical way to keep from liking someone, don't seem too happy, but not too upset. Just stay within the middle. The two went downstairs, where in the kitchen, they were greeted by Alex's Rottweiler , Jackson. Chancity sat down as the dog excitedly jumped on her and licked her face. She spoke to Jackson then stood up and watched Alex as he got his phone from his pocket to order pizza. He always seemed to know they'd be hanging out for a while and eventually want pizza.
Chancity only liked him as a friend, or that's what she always thought of it as. Friends sometimes watch each other do stuff, right? She jumped up and sat on the countertop while he called the pizza place. He had dark brown hair, cut in what most stereotypical people would call "scene" which she guessed would describe her, Anastasia and Alex perfectly. He wasn't pale, but he wasn't too tan, his skin was just right, and he was tall. Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she looked away from Alex and down to her phone.
'Snap out of it, DeLamirez' the text read and she looked up. By now, Alex was gone and she was alone in the kitchen. She looked behind her, where she saw Alex and Lucas, one of Alex's friends in the large living room. She noticed Lucas putting his phone back. He texted her. Made sense, of course one of Alex's friends would notice her staring at him. She got down from the counter and walked to them, Jackson walking beside her, like a guard dog.
"He likes you way to much" Alex said, looking at Chancity and his dog Jackson. Chancity shrugged, and told the dog to go lay down, which he obeyed. She looked up at Lucas, and gave him a look, as if saying 'don't you say anything about us.' With 'us' meaning her and Alex. Lucas just laughed and rolled his eyes, plopping down on the couch. Chancity sat on the farthest couch from Alex and Lucas, not wanting to seem too into the conversation. She sat, watching them but occasionally looking at her phone or to Jackson who was now sleeping on his oversized dog bed.
"Chance?" Alex said, using her nickname.
"Hmm?" She said looking at him.
"Come over here"
"I'm fine.."
"No come over hereee" he said, dragging out the word. She sighed and got up to go sit by Alex, knowing she wasn't going to win. The small couch he was sitting on was barely large enough for two people, but she seemed to like the idea, and Lucas smirked at her. She let out a long breath. "Lucas stop" she said strictly, and sat down close to Alex. She shivered at the thought that she could be this close to him at one time. She'd never been obnoxiously close (body-wise) to Alex, even when they hugged.

They were watching a movie and Lucas was starting to drift off to sleep, and Chancity looked up at Alex.
"I know he made you make me sit with you, if that even makes sense" she said.Alex looked down at her, "actually, no, I wanted you to be over here with me."
"Oh" was all she could get out of herself as she tried to hide her smile. Chancity checked her phone for the time, which Alex must have noticed.
"You can stay here tonight. It's a big house with a lot of rooms yanno?" He said, in a question way, and Chancity nodded. So she did just that, she stayed at Alex's house for the night. But most of the early morning she stayed up, running around the house with Jackson. The house had plenty space, and the noise didn't carry easily so it wouldn't wake up anyone. Maybe Lucas but Chancity didn't care about that. She slid around on the marble floor in her socks, which yes, is a child thing but teenagers are children in a way, right?
Eventually, she stopped and walked up the stairs. It was, by now, 8am and she hadn't slept at all, and all three of them would probably be sleeping all day anyways. She walked to one of the large bedrooms and claimed it as hers for the day. It was a pastel blue colored room, with a black and white bed layout, which she liked, and eventually she fell asleep.
