"Come on now, Ginji. When visiting the royal palace you really need to look around. There's plenty of cuties here." A tengu chuckled to a young white-haired ninetales. The pair suddenly stopped when they caught sight of an auburn haired geisha-styled lady. She smiled complacently as she played the koto.
"Now that's the most prized princess of them all. She is the adopted daughter of the Empress. She's human and has such a delicious flavor about her." The tengu pointed out. Ginji listened to her play the koto before being dragged away by his friend.
The princess turned to look in the direction of the movement to catch a glimpse of Ginji before a maid came out to gather her.

"It is so nice of Orio-ya to offer up such a prized young ayakashi for our daughter." The Empress beamed as she fluttered her fan slightly. She sat on the Emperor's right side. At a lower table, further away, the Noble Consort and fallen from status princess XiaoTiao sat on their designated tatami mats.
"Yes, thank you for such compliments but I must request where my bride may be at this moment?" Ginji asked from his small chair to the other side of the Emperor at the head table.
"She'll be here, she's doing an opening number for us tonight. She's a talented musician and dancer. She brought us a wonderful composure from the Apparent Realm. Oh look the show is starting!" The Empress clapped as the music striked up.
Ginji's eyes widened seeing the same lady as before. Her smile was seductive, but gentle like as she danced holding her tambourine.
Her eyes glanced over at him before returning her focus to her dance. Ginji looked over watching the Noble Consort smirk and whisper to her daughter who frowned.
It was no surprise the XiaoTiao carried disfavor for the Princess. Ginji watched on as the Princess finished her dance, bowing towards her adoptive father.
"Fabulous, absolutely marvelous, my darling little Princess, Iara!" The Emperor boomed. Ginji couldn't wait to meet his future bride.
