Autumn's scarlet scarf almost choked her as her father, Alaster Linwood, secured the beautifully woven fabric around his daughter's neck. The airport's AC was clearly broken with many of it's costumers running to and fro trying to get on the plane to their next destination or to yell at the employees. Autumn could see from the line next to them was a lady, shorter than her father by a few inches or less, who wearing a heavy coat and was not enjoying the humid air. It is fairly unlike New York to be so hot knowing it snows quiet a bit. Autumn stayed with her father in large crowded line for the plane that's headed for Georgia, where her mother will be waiting for her in the other airport.

On her side stands her red suitcase filled with expensive brand clothes, folded in color order, Nanny Wilkins had bought for her on their shopping adventure through New York City. Not only did they get lost in the subway station, but they managed to buy clothes from many parts of the city. Nanny Wilkins had grown fond of Autumn and practically begged her employer not to let her leave. Of course, Autumn had that sweet effect on those after staying for two months. For only nine years old, she wanted desperately to stay with her father, but her mother, Marissa Snow, didn't want her (ex) husband to "hog" their daughter. Not wanting to upset her, Alaster agreed to Marissa's terms, keeping his daughter for every two months of his choice. Winter break, which is technically more than two months, is his and his daughter's favorite knowing he'll stay with Autumn longer than Marissa expects.

A loud sigh escaped Alaster's mouth, by accident of course, though loud enough for all to hear. Their plane was shortly about to leave and people started to crowd through. Autumn, already by now used to the crowds of people, grabbed her suitcase by the cold handle and started to walk towards the door, however her father stopped her. He grasped her arm, pulling her up in his arms and kissing her gently on the forehead and wrapping her in his arms, as if he would never see her again. He smiled and gave a wink at her before placing her back on the ground. She grinned, giving him a huge, more likely around his legs, before she flounced away to the door, where it leads to a long tunnel to the plane's entrance.
