When My Life Begins(On-Going)

Prologue

"Welcome back miss De Lazzari!" Bati ng maid ni mommy. Kababalik ko lang galing America. And hindi ako masayang nandito ulit ako.

I take off my shades and look around at my parents house. There's alot of stuff changes here,huh. "Oh my beautiful daughter!" I heard my mom's voice and I look at her while going downstairs. Emotionless.

She give me a hug and kiss my both cheeks. I just hug her back. I don't know why she was so happy right now.

"Welcome back,Xavia. How are you?" She held my face and I just give her a smile. Not genuine. "Let's have a dinner first so we can talk." I follow her behind and I saw my dad sitting at the end of the dining table.

"My daughter is here." He stand and give me a hug. After that we eat together.

I wish that I could go to my house right now. I don't want to be with them. Everytime I saw them my mind keep on playing my heartbreak moment. Not just heartbreak. Dark days.

"We need to tell you something, xavia. You need to know this." My dad broke the deafening silence.

Okay. Here we go again. I don't trusting them anymore.

I just keep on silence and eating my food. Waiting for them to talk. "You're the only heiress of this family and I think you knew it from the very beginning." He started. I stop eating and put down the utensils.

Alam ko na patutunguhan nang usapang toh.

I sip on the glass of juice and pick up my bag,walk away without saying goodbye to them. I'm halfway when my dad talk.

"Stop turning your back at us. Again!" He yelled and it stops me from walking.

I didn't face them but I keep on standing. I don't want to look at their faces because everytime im looking at them, I'm looking to those people who hurt me instead of loving me.

"You will going to marry Jake Guardillo. That's my final decision! This is for you. For your future, Xavia." He continued.

I chuckled while turning my face to them. "For my future? Oh come on dad, how many times you said this to me? And you're telling me for my future?" I talked back.

"You mean, for the future of this goddamn company! You are the most selfish father that i've ever met. And mom, of course you'll going to do..NOTHING. Because you love him and all his plans was your plans too. Am I right?" I slowly walked towards them with full of anger in my eyes. I saw my dad clenched his jaw and his fist. "As far as I know... hindi mo pa rin iniwan itong lalaking toh kahit alam mong may ibang—"

I suddenly felt a slapped in my right cheek causing me to fell down to the floor. My tears roll down into my cheeks like waterfalls. "Sobra ka na, Xavia!" Mom was so angry looking at me and there's alot of emotions that I can't read in her eyes.

I still holding my cheek because of he slapped. "I wish that you're not my parents." I sobbed while shaking my head.

My wound in my heart doesn't heal. Those events was happened a few years ago but it felt like yesterday. Hindi ko pa rin alam kung paano sila kakausapin ng hindi kami nag-aaway away.
