" Kio ?" Mai asked the random boy she had only met on FaceTime because he always interrupts Vinnie. He nods his head with a smile plastered on his face " hi" he waved at the girl on the other side of the screen, she waved back " hi kio" she laughed softly at the boy smiling at her, Kio walked away now leaving Vinnie and Mai alone again " so how was your day today ?" Mai asked Vinnie, he rest his head on his hand " it was okay, i was just in my room the whole time, i miss you" he mumbled the last part.
Mai sighed and changed the angle of the phone, " i miss you too but i have to go, i'll talk to you soon i'm a little busy. i love you"
she waits for vinnie to respond before she hangs up, " i love you" she heard his raspy voice say and she ends the call. She continues packing her bags and got ready for her flight, Mai said bye to her mother and then went to the airport.
" so he doesnt know anything?" Mai asked the boy who was sitting beside her , he shook his head " i am positive he knows nothing" he gave her a reassuring look, she lets out a sigh of relief and added " okay so lets go through the plan again"
