chapter 1:The proposal

There lived a lady called Ajoke, she had a close friend called hadiza, Hadiza was her very good friend and she told her everything because she trusted her. She was a Yoruba lady and she was in love with a man Called Eze. Her mum wanted her to marry a Yoruba man but unfortunately she was in love with an igbo man and the mother had no choice, so before they got married she came to live with him in his house for a week and his mum was also in his house. Eze's mum didn't like her because she was a Yoruba girl, she always wanted him to marry his friend, her name was ifeoma but he didn't like her. So the mother wasn't comfortable with her in the house, It was early in the morning Ajoke woke up to clean the house but Eze told her to sleep for a while, When she woke up she realized it was a little bit late. Then she stood up to pick a broom and started sweeping then suddenly Eze's mum stopped her and told her to not sweep that Ifeoma already swept, so she felt so bad and told Eze. Then Eze told her he wants to marry her but she said his mum didn't like her so hoe would they get married. So Eze said it doesn't matter because they live each other, He then proposed to her and she accepted.
