Ask the tree who lives near a creek

What is the story of the turtle you seek

Granted your wish Willow shall give

If dared listen to spiraling octave

Does one ponder Turtle too slow

Arrogance is to presume so

Better to consume wisdom slowly, than be swift and die

Wise Turtle's shell grows with year's sigh

This is its sanctuary, a place called home

As hives are to honeycomb

Friend to earth, playful as a surprise

Wise Turtle will survive

Through rain or snow

Friend or foe

Peace and happiness it wishes for all

Just ask the tree don't wait til Fall
