Burdened Sea

I feel it at my door seething

A viper constricting, breathing

These tears fall with shattered vision

Through sapping walls of poison

Helping leads to realism

Which is another's exorcism

Their pain is my burdened sea

Take it out on me

To stay cradling remainder of lives

Ask who will clear the knives

Pulling others through

My soul exhausts light anew

Say it's selfishness, I'll smile

Endurance is perseverance, not vile

Inner battles rage, staining souls

Within eyes of abys, I see strength's coals
