I sat next to Kakyoin on the plane that was headed towards Egypt. JiJi and Avdol were sitting in front of us and Kakyoin looked out the window. I looked over her shoulder to the window. She turned towards me, our noses almost touching. I kept my face the same, but hers quickly pulled away.
"We can switch seats if you want to look out the window," she said quietly. It was dark and late, so the plane was close to dead quiet besides the occasional creaks and turbulence of the plane. I shook my head.
"No. I'm good."
She nodded and turned back away. She wrapped herself in her green shawl, pulling her knees to her plump chest. She looked like she had goosebumps from what I could tell from her exposed thighs. I looked away before taking off my jacket. It's fine. I was warm anyways. I put it over her head as I crossed my arms and pulled my hat over my eyes, closing them. I could hear the small woman shuffling and grumble, probably thinking I was using her as a coat rack.
I smirked to myself.
She's probably cute when she's angry.
However, the peace didn't last long, as one of the agents of DIO was on that same plane. JiJi and Avdol weren't much help, and Star Platinum couldn't keep up. Kakyoin however, easily caught the fly like stand, incapacitating it.
The pilots and a few passengers were killed by the fly, sending the plane crashing downwards. Luckily, JiJi knew how to crash land a plane.
He had that experience.
Afterwards, the four of us got into a SWF rental that waited for us at the airport. While we waited, I kept finding myself looking at Kakyoin. It was late, and she kept dozing off. Her head would wobble before shooting back up. She was still wrapped up in her shawl, keeping the oversized jacket on her shoulders, clutching it tightly.
It was kinda cute.
When we got back on the road, she crashed immediately in the car. Her head fell onto my arm, and made me sigh. I was tired too, so I let my guard down and rested my head on her's.
Her hair smelled like maraschino cherries and vanilla.
