The rest of that night was amazing. Dancing. Singing. Happiness. And, George. It felt amazing to have all the pressure of having to stay loyal to Cedric while also having a crush on her best friend whisked away. She was actually not mad at Cedric for cheating on her, well she was, but she was relieved, it left it so she didn't need to break up with the boy.

The next morning she woke up, probably happier then she had ever been in her entire life. She got dressed as quickly as possible, it was a Sunday, so no classes. She threw on a crewneck, baggy jeans, and mismatching socks as usual. Estella never put her shoes on in the dorms, so she grabbed her converse and ran out into the common room. As she walked inside, sitting on the couch, she saw the back of someones head, specifically someone with long-ish ginger hair. It was 8 in the morning so there was no way it was Fred, Estellas grinned from ear to ear and her stomach released butterflies just at the sight of him.

She walked around to where he was sitting in front of the fireplace, he was playing around with some sort of toy, a prank item they invented probably.

"Morning Darling," he looked up at her, smiling a warm smile, the one that made her instantly fall in love.

"Good morning!" she returned, George patted the spot on the couch next to him and looked at her. She followed and sat next to him, leaning her head against his warm shoulder and laying her legs on the couch.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked, still fidgeting with the toy, his hands where so large and veiny moving across the invention so gracefully.

"Good, you know, as usual," she watched his hands pull apart certain parts and re-attach them. "What's that?"

He placed the machine on his lap and looked up at her. "This, well, I cant tell you what it is," he chuckled.

"And why not?" she pouted.

"Because, one day, when Fred and I get a shop in Diagon Alley, or some place, we don't want anyone stealing our inventions," he joked and tapped her on the nose. "Even you." he laughed and went back to playing with the toy.

For a while, they just sat there, enjoying the moment, taking in the scene. Soon enough, a tired Lee came walking down the steps, he walked over to the two and plopped himself in the arm chair next to them.

With a big yawn he said, "Morning lovebirds."

"Good morning Lee," Estella laughed and George took a pillow from the couch and threw it at the boy.

"Hey!" Lee threw the pillow back at George, but it hit Estella instead.

"And that is why you're not on the quidditch team," Fred said as he walked over to the three and sat on the opposite armchair from Lee.

"Morning Freddie," Estella waved to the sleepy ginger.

"Morning Stelle," Fred turned to George who was still messing around with the invention. "Did you figure out what happened with it yet?"

"No, but I'm close," he set it down on the table next to the couch.

"I'm hungry," Ron came down the steps, followed by Harry. After apologizing at the party last night, the two were no longer mad at each other and back to being best friends.

"Why is it you're always hungry Ronald," Hermione showed up behind the two.

"I'm hungry, too," Lee said and stood up, looking around the room.

"Well if we're all hungry let's go get breakfast," Estella laughed, the group of 4th and 6th years got up and began walking out.

As they were walking down the steps she felt George's hand touch her hand and tangle his long fingers around her's. She looked at him and smiled, he just acted like nothing was happening but soon looked back at her and smiled too. She felt safe with him, better than she had ever felt with Cedric. His hand was warm and it felt nice against hers, like it was meant to be there.
