"Hey Commander~" Long island greeted cheerily as she entered the Commander office.

"Hello" He responded, not raising his head from the paper work before him. Letting out a sigh as he signed off on one of the few left and added it to the pile on his right.

"Phew" he then muttered with a chuckle as he finished the last one and put it aside and looked up at Long Island who was looking back at him with an expectant expression.

"And how can I help you Long Island?"

"I want you to try out a new game with me~" She replied with a smile, quickly moving behind his desk and pushing him to his feet by his shoulders.

"Okay okay" he said with a laugh as she then grabbed his hand and dragged him out of his office and into the corridor.

After dragging the Commander to her room and positioning him in front of her computer he finally broke his silence and asked.

"What are we playing?"

"A game where you can fly planes, drive tanks and command ships~" She replied, clearly being very interested in the game and eager to share it given her tone.

"Well I already do the last one~" The Commander jokingly replied causing her to giggle slightly.

"Yes, I know~ Let's give tanks a try then. I've already got everything ready you just need to hit the 'to battle' button"

"Alright then, let's see if this game is as good as you seem to think it is eh?"

"It is!" She replied vehemently, glad she could share something she loved with her Commander.

(Long island in head) "Maybe if he likes this it could be a reason for us to hang out more..."

"Alright then, we're in a battle so what do I do now?" The Commander asked, feeling quite nervous as she leaned forward and pressed against his back as she pointed all over the screen and explained the HUD and objectives.

"Got all that?" She then asked, noticing that he has a strange look on his face.

"Y-Yep!" He quickly replied, his mind returning to what was happening rather than wandering...

"Then go and kill them and make me proud~" She the announced with a giggle, leaning her head in to intently watch him play.

---Timeskip---

After a solid few hours of playing, much of it done by the Commander while Long Island watched over his shoulder, occasionally calling out things that were 'bullshit' in the game and times when the Commander could've done batter.

Despite this she thoroughly enjoyed her time watching him, so much so that she even worked up the courage to lean on his shoulder to watch while he played. He glanced back as she did this, looking into her eyes for a moment with a smile before returning to the game.

He then let out a yawn as he glanced at the clock and saw how long he'd been playing for.

(Commander in head) "Well it's very late..."

"I'm tired... But I really enjoy the game I-" He started, stopping as he noticed that she had fallen asleep on his shoulder. Her soft and short breaths being the only sound to come from her mouth.

The Commander's expression softened as he switch off the computer and carefully slipped his hand under her head, supporting it as he got up and softly slung his hand under her legs. He then held her for a moment before walking over towards her bed...

Little did he know, she wasn't as asleep as she appeared and slowly opened her eyes. Letting out a soft gasp under her breath as she realised he was carrying her to bed.

Her face turned bright red and she was about to say something, stopping herself as she realised how warm and safe she felt.

She let out a slight whimper as a smile formed on her face and she nuzzled it into her chest.

Noticing this the Commander stopped for a moment, thinking she'd awoken. After a minute or so of standing still and not moving he thought that she must've just moved in her sleep.

It was at this point that his heart rate began to rise and his face began to heat up as the reality of what was happening dawned on him.

(Commander in head) "She'd probably hit me if I tried this with anyone else around..."

As he reached her bed he pulled back the covers with one hand and softly put her down. Pulling then back over has as a smile formed on his face.

(Commander in head) "She's so cute when she sleeps~"

"Sleep well" He whispered as he turned to leave the room.

He just made it to the door and had opened when he heard a quiet voice reply.

"Thank you for everything today Commander..."

His heart rate shot up immediately upon hearing her speak.

"H-How long have y-you been awake?"

"Since just after you picked me up..."

"A-Ah..." The Commander muttered, his usually stoic demeanor shattered by his embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry if I woke you but I didn't want you to have to sleep in that chair..."

"I-I'm glad you did... It felt... Really nice..."

"I'm glad then~" He responded as a smile returned to his face, replacing any worry he had.

"Just um... P-Promise me one thing..." Long Island then whispered, lifting the covers near her face up to cover it as she felt it get hotter and hotter.

"Okay, what is it?"

She clenched her eyes shut as she spoke, "D-Don't do anything like that w-with any other girl..."The Commander didn't say anything for a moment as he processed what she'd said, feeling his own face heat up at the implications.

"Okay~" He eventually whispered back with a slight chuckle.

She let out a sigh of relief and an ever so slight giggle as she responded, "Thank you~"
