My forever, your never

You told me you loved and needed me.
You promised me forever but forever didn't last longer then a month at best.
You told me you were sorry and that you cared.
You told me you didn't want to be with anyone else but that was two girlfriends ago.
For fucks sake I comforted you when girlfriend number three broke up with you.
I tried not to cry when you guys got back together the next day.
You might not love me, but I love you.
You might not need me, but I need you.
You might not care about me, but fuck I care about you.
I might not have your heart forever, but mines still wrapped around your fucking pinky.
I understand we're just friends, I know we're exes.. but could you at least try not rub it in?!
I'll always love you, no matter how much I wish I didn't.
I'll always care about you even when you don't deserve it.
Sadly you'll always be my forever even when I'm your never.
