It was my first day in L.A. Tomorrow I would have my first day at my new school. Lincoln high school. I've heard good things and bad things. But for now it's time to unpack. "Meg are you excited for your new school" my mom asked "I guess,im not sure what to expect" I mumbled. My mom put down the box that held our finery "hon, it's going to be a good day don't worry!" She gave me a kiss on the head and continued with the boxes. Im just imagining the best day ever.
It was the next day and I had woken up an hour early so I could have enough time to get ready. I wore my navy blue dress with my red lipstick. Ding-dong!! I headed down stairs and grabbed my backpack as I went down the stairs. "Meg, this is violet" my mom introduced "hey meg im gonna be your guide!"she exclaimed. I smiled at her with a big grin. She seemed a bit punk rock. Denim vest, ripped jeans and converse. Not pretty bad for a girl who seems most likely to rob a bank, but thats just me. We walked to school on our way she asked "so you're new? Right?" "Yeah I just moved here from Chicago." "Omg!! Chicago!!" i just nodded in hope she wouldn't blow up. "I have a cousin in Chicago." "her names sadie". We got to school and she directed me to my classroom. Time for akward stares at me!!!!
