As the sports car rolled up in front of me, I stiffened, peering down into the tinted windows.
The window in front of me rolled down, revealing a man about my age, smirking.
"Well, you getting in? I don't wanna be here all day."
My eyes widened as I nodded and stiffly walked over to the passenger seat. Chris rolled up the window as I did so.
I opened the car door, looking down at the seat. The car was obviously new, as a gust of new car smell hit my nose. Did he buy this to hit up random chicks he found on the street? Hopefully not.
I buckled my seatbelt, looking down as to not make eye contact.
"Hey, dude-" Chris laughed, causing me to bolt up and look at him, nervously staring directly at his face.
"Sorry! Did I offend you? I just thought dude would be a gender neutral term, I didn't want to assume anything.." Chris chuckled nervously.
Ah shit, I made my driver feel bad-
"I- um no, I'm not offended. Paranoia got to me. This car is new and I thought you might just be using to car to—" I squeaked before Chris put his hand to my mouth, laughing wildly.
"Oh- my god," he spoke between fits of laughter, " You- you thought I was using this- to get unsuspecting girls to get into my car and do- weird kinky shit with me?"
"I mean, judging by your reaction I guess not—"
"Nah man, my dad just passed, got a new car with the inheritance... kinda wasted it all..." Chris rubbed the back of his head, looking out his window.
I smiled at him, he wasn't as bad as I feared.
"Anyways, I was gonna ask if you minded me putting on my music. It's not anything hardcore, I promise it won't burst your ears." Chris continued with his original query.
I nodded, looking out the front of the car. Chris hooked his phone up to the radio, starting a song and then starting the car.
As we left the driveway, I paid close attention to the music playing. It was very quiet, kind of peaceful. The person singing was really good at it too. His voice was hushed and mellow, very nice to listen too.
The lyrics were pretty sad, though. They felt like they could be in some emo songs from 2012, but that was okay. I'm kinda into that stuff, depending on my mood.
As at sunk back into the comfortable seat and listened to the music, I opened my lips to speak,
"Hey, uh, who is this?" I asked, pointing to the radio at the front of the car. "I kinda vibe with the music."
"Huh? Oh it's Wilbur Soot, pretty good music. I mostly listen to Your City Gave Me Asthma, but he has some other bangers."
I nodded, looking down at my phone. I would definitely add some songs of his later.

After what seemed like mere seconds, I arrived at Ty's house. Looking over at Chris, I waved bye.
As I started to leave the car, I felt a tug on my arm.
"Hey, could I get your number? Uh sorry if it's weird, just thought it'd be cool to stay in touch!" Chris asked, smiling up at me.
"I'm... sure? Kind of weird to give your phone number to a Uber driver..."
"Hey you seemed to like the music, so that's something we have in common!"
I laughed at his remark, passing him a small piece of paper with my number on it. "The name's Y/N!"
I waved once again, closing the door of the car behind me. As Chris pulled away, I looked at the large house.
Ty's family had a lot of money, or at least more than I did. They were able to afford a two story house that was pretty much a mansion compared to anything I had lived in.
I walked up the path to the door, knocking three times and waiting silently for Ty to arrive.
It only took a few seconds for the door to be torn open.
Before I could even register what happened, I was constructed by something ahead of me, specifically Ty's arms.
"Y/N! You finally came! Ugh you took foreverrrrr-" Ty groaned, holding out the 'r' for way too long.
Trying to not suffocate under the girl's strength, I nudged free of her grasp and choked out, "Sorry, I got raided and had to keep streaming-"
"Nah it's totally cool, we were watching your stream until you stopped!" Ty gleamed," You're shit at bedwars."
I pushed her away, making my way into the foyer.
I continued walking, Ty close on my trail, until I reached the bright living room.
There were three people, all glued to the tv screen. I recognized all of them.
Cody, another one of my very close friends, was strewn out across the entire couch, smiling giddily.
Lily, someone who I was mostly just acquaintances with, was sitting in the center of the floor, legs crossed and arms sitting on her knees.
Finally, Erin. I didn't know Erin, but I knew their name. They were sitting on one of the many bean bags across the ground.
"HEY LOSERS! Y/N IS FINALLY HERE!" Ty shouted from behind me, startling me half to death.
The others quickly turned towards me and smiled welcomingly, beckoning me to join them in their video.
"Yo Y/NN! We're watching Techno!" Cody hollered as I pushed his legs off the far end of the couch.
"Pogchamp!" I shouted, sitting down on the spot that I had just cleared.
I watched Techno really frequently. I always found his monotone voice and amazing PvP skills very entertaining. It was always fun to go back and watch all his videos, along with other people's.
I stared at the screen, watching whatever video of Technoblade's was playing at the moment.

———

After a couple videos, Ty left her spot on the floor, going to get us some snacks.
"Hey why don't we watch someone else?" Lily grinned at the remaining people.
"No! I wanna watch Technoblade!" I pouted, crossing my arms like a little kid and bunching up.
"Oh c'mon Y/NN, there's a thousand people we can watch, we don't have to watch Techno all day-" Erin started before I stood up on the couch, cutting them off.
"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" I cried angrily, grabbing a throw pillow and hitting Cody with it.
"Hey I wasn't even part of this argument!" Cody gleamed, picking up his own pillow and starting to wack Erin with it.
At some point, we all just started hitting each other with pillows, trying to knock each other out.

———

"THE BLOOD GOD REMAINS VICTORIOUS!" I screech, standing up on the back of the couch.
The other three were laying on the floor, defeated.
"My power is too strong! You must train for an—"
Before I could finish my sentence, I was pushed off the back of the couch, landing face first into a pile of pillows that had been left over from our war.
I rolled over, staring up at who had defeated me. None other than...
Ty.
"Ahhh! How could you! You betrayed meeeee-" I fake sobbed, rubbing my eyes as if I was crying.
"You were on the back of the couch! I just had too! Anyways, I'm back, so we're watching someone other than Techno. Eat your food." Ty groaned playfully as she tossed us a bunch of chips and candies for us to consume to our hearts content.
I grabbed a small bag of chips and sat back on the couch, Cody returning to the seat besides me.
Ty quickly grabbed the remote as everyone got off the floor, ready to watch more Minecraft nonsense.
"Why don't we watch one of Y/N's videos?" Ty turned to me, smiling devilishly.
My face automatically turned a bright red, from either embarrassment or fury.
"No. We aren't watching one of my stupid videos."
"Nah I agree," Cody purred, "I just want to see Y/NN cringe at how they look on video."
"CODYYYYY" I complain, flopping over onto him.

———

Despite my complaints, everyone teamed against me and decided to watch my videos.
I had a pillow over my face for most of the time as I listened to everyone laugh at my stupidity.
"Oh c'mon that video is funny!" Erin laughed and Cody continuously tried to pry the pillow from my grasp.
"NOOO! I don't want to watch meeeee! I'll get second- first- whatever hand embarassmenttttttt." I moan, making sure Cody still couldn't take the pillow off my face.
"Fine, then how about we watch someone else." Ty laughed.
I took the pillow off my face, sending Cody jolting backwards with said pillow. "FINALLY."
"Ok who should we watch?" Ty looked around, asking for ideas.
"Uhhhhh Dream's Manhunts are always fun?" Cody smiled.
"What about Quackity? Then we wouldn't have to watch more Minecraft." Lily laughed.
"Maybe Wilbur?" Erin shrugged.
I looked over at Erin, titling my head slightly as I giggled, "Wilbur?"
Everyone suddenly gasped, turning to look at me as if I had committed a terrible war crime.
"You don't know Wilbur Soot?" Ty put her hands on my cheeks, squishing my face.
"I mean I heard some of his music on the way here? But other than that-" I mumbled as Ty continued to squish my face.
Ty quickly released me and grabbed her phone, tapping at the speed of light.
As she turned her phone to me, there was an entire page of just... a really cute guy.
"You don't know him? You one hundred percent sure?" Cody looked over at me.
"No, but he's pretty handsome!" I laugh to myself. "Does he like do videos with anyone?"
Everyone seemed to eye roll at me, oh boy I messed up.
"He's literally done plenty of videos with Technoblade, how do you not know him?" Lily groaned.
"I don't know? I thought I knew like every big YouTuber-" I shrug, how the fuck was I supposed to respond?
"Ok I'm gonna have to quiz you on that after, but let's just watch one of his videos—"
Ty put away her phone, grabbing the remote once again and searching up 'Wilbur Soot' on YouTube, playing one of his videos.
