- You own me to come tonight - Marco said and I looked in desbelief at him - And I'm helping you to move out in a few days so like, that's the least you could do.

- But I don't want to. I've been telling you this for the past 2 hours - I said it back - I'll do whatever you want me to

- So you're coming today - He interrupted me and I let out a groan - Tell me one good reason why you don't want to come - He said and I looked at my brother seating by my side in my bed alongside his wife and I sighed

- Gio - I said and looked at my hands not wanting to look at them

- Weren't you guys friends honey? - Scarlett spoke taking my hands in hers

- Kinda? We met before that game in a club and well we might have made out the entire night BUT I didn't know he played for Dortmund - I said looking up to my brother that told me to keep going - We may or may not have continued with it and acted like a couple most of the times but were never official and by now you already know the gossip going on about him and that girl, so I've been ignoring him for a while now and going to this thing makes it hard to do so. - I said letting it all out - Please don't be mad at me

- I should be, but you know I'm just protective in this case I want to beat Giovanni - He said rolling his eyes and pulling me closer to him - He's been asking about you since they all came back - He said and I shrugged

- That's true, him, Erling and Jadon were so annoying the first day wanting Marco to make you come back earlier - Scarlett said and I denied with my head

- Which leads me to ask, you and Joshua? - Marco asked and I denied quickly

- Just friends, chill. - I said and he agreed - And you don't go getting angry at Gio, he's still your teammate

- And your still my sister - He said as if it was obvious and I rolled my eyes - But now that I know this, here's my proposition, you come with me since Scarlett won't be able to make it and I'll not leave your side. I'll even already text to get us on the table with the oldies - He said and I looked at Scarlett that smiled nodding at me and I sighed

- Fine. - I said as the couple celebrated - But if I have to stay for more than a minute in his presence you can go to hell - I said and he nodded

- Oh trust me, he's not getting close to you anytime now.

- Ready? - Marco said when we left my car since he wanted to drink today and he was making sure I wasn't drinking

- Yes - I said smoothing my green dress - Remember your promise Reus.

- I'm absolutely remembered - He said and entered the restaurant looking for the private area that was closed for today's dinner

- NO WAY, THE MASCOT IS BACK - I heard Mats scream making the entire room turn their attention to us and Marco pull me fast to the oldies table

- Missed me this much old man? - I said joking him who also were like an old brother to me

- I missed you until you called me old - He said and I laughed hugging everyone else around the table and sitting between Mats and my brother

- Won't you go talk to the boys? I think the entire attention is on you right now - Schmelzer asked and I shrugged

- I'll do it later - I said

- Yes, she's mine for today - Marco said hugging me and making the entire table laugh

- EMILY GET YOUR ASS HERE - Jadon screamed from the table and I was able to hear his mom scoff him for the language

- NOT NOW SANCHO, MY SISTER IS STICKING BY ME FOR TONIGHT - Marco screamed back looking at them seriously making me realise he was taking his promise serious but making everyone else laugh

- That's not fair - Giovanni screamed and I just saw my brother rolling his eyes making me poke him

- Remember he's still your teammate - I said

- Than he can switch teams - Marco said and I rolled my eyes

- Planning on speaking to us? - Erling hold my wrist when I was making my way back from the bathroom

- I was going to later on - I said shrugging and being presented to the families and friends

- When can I drive your car? - Jadon asked hugging me while I tried to make eye contact with Marco and find an excuse to leave

- Not anytime soon, I'm moving, need him - I said and he's eyes almost left his face

- Your moving? - Gio asked confused and I nodded shrugging

- We can help you - Erling said and I smiled a little

- Thanks guys, but Marco, my family and the boys are already helping, I don't think is needed

- Help can never be too much - Gio pointed out

- So, you went on a trip and didn't care about the bvb stuff - The girl that had presented as the so called Jane pointed out to me

- She didn't need to, she's 17, she can enjoy her life with her friends. Plus she's back, and is here now - Marco saved me from it throwing his arms around my shoulders

- That's absolutely right! Imagine if she had to miss out on stuff because of those events - Gio's mom, Danielle pointed out.

- Exactly, now if you guys excuse us we are on our way out. - Marco said

- Already? - Erling said sounding annoyed but sad

- We are still going to an 24h ice cream place before going home and tomorrow we are going apartment shopping for this one. I need energy - He said back and I laughed

- Come on Marco you have energy - Jadon said and he laughed

- I'm talking energy to behave around her ex. Terrible idea to date people friends with your best friends - Marco pointed out at me.

- Josh is not even going - I said to him

- Joshua. Not Josh. - He corrected me and I rolled my eyes

- You really hate the guy - Gio said smirking at me but I completely ignored him making his face fall like he didn't understood why

- I do, although he was respectful and a good person but you know, is my little sister. - Marco said pulling me to say our finals goodbye before we finally left it

- Was it that bad? - He asked and I denied

- Not really, they were pretty much avoided till the end of it.

And I hoped I could still do it, because seeing Gio just made me miss him even more.
