The school day had come and gone; it was 6:25 and Robby was getting ready with a big smile on his face. He couldn't wait to see Maya! He decided to buy flowers, but he didn't know what to do as it was his first date. Suddenly, he called Max and said he was going to cancel and that he wasn't ready. Max persuaded him to go and gave him a few tips. He left his house and was on his way to Maya's house. He approached knocked and then take a few steps backs.
"Hey," said Maya, whilst blushing profusely,
"Hey, you look great." Robby shyly replies
She was wearing a bright red dress with slits down the side and sparkling silver shoes, her hair was beautiful and curly just how Robby liked it. He was stunned by her beauty.
"This is for you," said Robby as he handed her the bouquet of flowers,
"Awww Robby you're so sweet!" she said happily.
They made their way to the restaurant, sat down and ordered. For a minute, Robby felt lost in her eyes, he felt happy with this girl.
The food came, they ate and laughed. It was late and Robby and Maya walked together; she was so happy. They approached her house and she hugged him, Robby felt happy with her warmth, he felt like he could conquer the world with her warmth.
"Bye," Robby said.
"Robby, before I go, I want you to know that I really like you. I've liked you for years now and I'm so happy we are together..."
"Thanks, me too!" Robby replied to Maya.
She let go of him and she looked him in the eyes, tip-toed, tilted her head and kissed him. She turned around to walk inside the door and waved.
On the whole way home, Robby kept thinking of Maya and how big of a part she is in his life. Robby realised he loved Maya. He loved her more than anything!
