Welcome to the last chapter, cry with me. :)

Iwaizumi's POV

I gently shook Oikawa awake, extremely excited for our brunch date with our friends. I had already gotten breakfast, downed a protein shake, brushed my teeth, attempted to fix my hair, although it was useless due to how short it was, and gotten dressed. I wanted to tell them the big news, that Oikawa and I were finally a couple!

He grumbled slightly, covering his face with the fluffy duvet. Without hesitation I threw the cover off of him, scooping him up into my arms as I spun him around. "Iwa-Chan!!" He exclaimed, voice sitting somewhere between a giggle and a cry for help. I connected our lips as I gently guided him into a standing position, my hands finding the perfect spot on his waist. He wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling me into himself as much as he could. He ran his hand through my short, dark brown hair, smiling into our sweet kiss. I was the first to break it, smiling widely as I threw my head over my boyfriend's shoulder, "Someone's excited!"

"Of course I am!!" I nearly shouted, "I get to show the whole world you're mine."

"What happened to the brute I knew?" He lightly punched my chest, the beautiful, no, extraordinary twinkle in his eyes, "What did you do with my Hajime?"

"He became your Hajime Dumbass!" I planted a light kiss on the tip of his nose, pressing our foreheads together after, "C'mon get dressed."

"I suppose I've had enough beauty sleep." He sighed, searching through his large closet.

"You're so pretty you don't need beauty sleep." I insisted, smirking as I stared up at the ceiling.

"Smooth, Iwa-Chan," He smirked in return, "But I like it rough."

I nearly choked on the oxygen entering my lungs at Oikawa's response, "Tooru if you keep this up we'll be late for brunch..."

"True..." He replied, a sad look replacing his usual grin, "And I get to meet some of your friends too so I wouldn't want to be late to that. What are their names again?"

"My friend from high school, Dahci, and his boyfriend Sugawara, they went to the same school at Hinata," I reminded him, leaning against the door frame, "And then Kuroo and his boyfriend Kenma, they went to Nekoma."

"Ooh, Tokyo natives!" He teased, "How fun."

It didn't take too terribly long for Oikawa to be ready, so we got to the cafe right on time. It was small and quiet, we had to ask the lady at the counter if it was alright for us to place two tables together as each originally only sat four. Oikawa and I sat next to each other this time, bracing ourselves to deliver the news. First off, however, I had to properly come out, at least to my friends, Oikawa's just assumed.

"So uh I've been thinking the past few months," I took a sip of my plain black coffee, the sweat on my palms making it slightly difficult to keep a hold of. Oikawa placed his hand on my Knee, calming my nerves instantly, "And uh...I realized I'm gay."

"Wait you mean you didn't know already?" Kenma asked from his place next to Kuroo, his head leaning against the taller man's arm.

"Did  you?!" I questioned, eyes shooting wide open like a deer in headlights.

"We all just kind of guessed..." Daichi admitted, "I mean you never dated anyone in high school but you stuck to Oikawa like glue."

"Speaking of that!" Oikawa piped up, quickly kissing my on the jaw with a wide smile, "Iwa-Chan is officially mine! And I will not share."

"Yeah. We're dating now."

"Finally." Akaashi sighed, "Kotaro can stop asking when I think you two will get married."

"Keji when do you think they will get married though?" Bokuto innocently asked, send a flush across my cheeks as I learned my throat.

"Yeah, Hajime when are we getting married?" Oikawa playfully asked, wrapping his arms around mine.

I flicked him lightly on the forehead, causing him to groan in discomfort, "We just started dating last night."

"But it feels like we've been dating for years!!!" He insisted, pouting like a little boy.

I took a long sip of coffee, contemplating my answer to my lovely, yet impatient boyfriend, "Soon."

His eyes lit up with excitement, practically vibrating in his seat. He sucked down a few gulps of his sugared-up coffee, radiating pure happiness, "Akaashi, Hinata, Kenma-San, and Suga-San you guess will have to help me pick out a white suit!!"

"Of course we will, Oikawa." Akaashi agreed, the rest of the boys shaking their heads in agreement.

"I guess us manly men will have to get dear old Iwa-Chan shit faced for his bachelor party." Kuroo teased, throwing a harmless wink my way.

"Anyway, where do you work Oikawa?" Daichi asked, effortlessly moving the conversation along.

"I'm the primary setter for Japan's national team!" He smiled, "Hinata and Bokuto are wing spikers while Iwa-Chan is our fitness coach."

"You didn't tell me you knew Iwaizumi?!" Kenma exclaimed, whipping his head in Hinata's direction.

"You never asked..." Hinata quietly responded

"Wait you two know each other?" I asked, finishing off my first coffee of the day.

"Yeah. We met at the training camp back in high school and stayed friends." Hinita clarified.

"They play games every Saturday night until three am..." Kageyama recalled.

"Kags and I complain to each other since they won't let us sleep." Kuroo attested, "We usually have to force-feed them at some point."

We talked and laughed for hours, none of us knowing that Bokuto, Kuroo, Kageyama, Daichi, and I would all propose to our boyfriends in the same place, on the same day, two years later.

AUTHORS NOTE

It's finished :( I am really proud of this story. I love it a lot. It was incredibly comforting to write. What did you guys think about it? I might do an epilogue of them as parents if you guys want that. I know this story was a little shorter but I think it still delivered an important message. I'm sorry this chapter was so short! I really just needed to tie up a few loose ends with it. Welp I hope you all enjoyed! Have a lovely day.
