You promised~Cedric Digory

Hello Loves! This is a bit of a sad one, so brace yourselves

"Cedric!" (Y/n) shouted over the cheers, the contestants had just finished the first task and (Y/n) was looking to congratulate him. "Hey love" a voice said from behind her, "Cedric!" (Y/n) threw her arms around his neck and he spun her around, (Y/n) shrieked in delight. "I can't believe you did it! And your ok!" Cedric put her back on the ground and pretended to pout, "Well I would've thought you would have at least a little bit of faith in me" "of course I had faith in you, I was just worried, I mean, dragons Ced? This tournament is not for the faint of heart" "Don't worry about me (Y/n), I'll be ok as long as you're next to me" he grinned playfully at her, " Cedric promise me you won't get yourself killed" "I promise (Y/n/n). Now, let's just enjoy the party." (Y/n) smiled as Cedric dragged her to the hufflepuff common room where there house mates were celebrating their houses latest victory.

About an hour later and both Cedric and (Y/n) were, to put it lightly, a little more than drunk. (Y/n) grabbed Cedric's hand and pulled him into an empty hallway, "I like where this is going..." Cedric said smirking. (Y/n) pushed him against the wall, "I think you deserve a reward for doing so well today" and started to kiss down his neck towards his collarbone, "mmmhhh (Y/n), love, not that I don't love this, I do, but your quite drunk and I don't want you to do anything your not comfortable with" "Cedric we've slept together before, I'm fine!" "I know but I don't want you to regret anything in the morning" she cupped his face, "I promise you I'm alright, but if you want we can just talk tonight" "ok." they slid down the wall onto the floor and Cedric put his head in (Y/n)'s lap as she played with his hair, the two of them in a comfortable silence.

The next morning (Y/n) woke up in her own bed with a pounding headache, "uurrggghhhh" she groaned her roommate and best friend Lidia laughed, "I told you you shouldn't drink on a Sunday" (Y/n) rolled out of bed flipping her friend off as she trudged to the bathroom.
After (Y/n) had taken a shower, grabbed a quick breakfast and gave Cedric a kiss she rushed off to her first class. She had almost made it to the doors of her potions classroom as Hermione Granger a fourth year gryfindoor stopped her, "(Y/n)
(Y/l/n), right?" (Y/n) turned to face her, "That would be me, why?" The girl smiled "Dumbledore said he needed us in his office right away" "Oh! Do you know why?" The two girls started walking, "Not a clue."

When they got into Dumbledores office Ron Weasley, one of Harry Potter's friends, and a young girl already sat in front of Dumbledores desk. Professer Mcgonagal stood beside Professor Dumbledore and beckoned the children to take a seat, "Now, we've asked you all here because you are the most special person at hogwarts to each one of the champions respectively, M. Weasley for Harry, Miss Delacour for Fleur, Miss Granger for Victor and of course, Miss (Y/l/n) for Cedric. You will all be placed under a sleeping charm where you will not regain consciousness until you are pulled out of the black lake where you will be placed for the contestants to find you. Do any of you have objections?" The four students all shook their heads and the spell was placed.

Cedric looked around the castle everywhere for (Y/n) until he recognized her friend, Lidia, seemingly studying in the common room, "Hey Lidia, do you you know where (Y/n) is? I haven't seen her since this morning" Lidia frowned, "Hmm no, comme to think of it I haven't seen her since this morning either." Cedric had a sinking feeling in his gut, "Ok well thanks, let me know if you find her" Lidia smiled, "will do!"

It was almost time for the next chalenge and Cedric still hadn't found (Y/n). He disappointedly got ready, and tried not to think about it to hard as the shot was fired and he dove into the lake.

(Y/n) inhaled deeply as her head broke the surface and she saw crowds of people cheering and clapping. Cedric pushed her up onto the dock then climbed out himself, as soon as they got out people were there giving them towels and trying to warm them up, (Y/n shivered and huddled closer to Cedric. "Th-thank you f-for sa-vi-ving m-m-me" "A-always d-dar-l-ling" (Y/n) smiled, Harry finally broke the surface with fleurs little sister and Ron, and everyone started celebrating.

An hour before Cedric was planned to go into the maze him and (Y/n) sat in the astronomy tower trying not to think to much about the upcoming challenge. (Y/n) bit her lip nervously "Cedric before you go, you have to promise me something" Cedric cupped her face with his hand, "Anything" "You have to come back to me. I don't think I could live without you. I don't think I could live without us." Cedric tilted her head slightly upwards so that their eyes were in line, "I promise that whatever happens, I will come back to you, and we will get married and have our own happy family" (Y/n) sat upright "you want to marry me?" Cedric laughed "Of course I do! Right after we graduate, we can have the biggest or smallest wedding you want and after we can get a small flat in the city and get our lives started" (Y/n) grinned "That sounds absolutely perfect Ced. I love it"

After the contestants had run into the maze, (Y/n) and the other students waited rather impatiently for their return. Suddenly a flash of light and Harry appeared everyone began cheering until they noticed something was very wrong. Harry was sobbing and yelling as he held on tightly to something, no, someone. (Y/n)'s heart dropped as she pushed through the crowd only to recognize a familiar face, she dropped to her knees beside Harry everything else blurring, her sight only focusing on Cedrics lifeless body, "NO!" She screamed "You promised! You promised you would come back! You promised we would get married and have a family after hogawarts! You promised you wouldn't leave me... you promised... you promised" her words fading slowly as they turned into sobs that wreaked her entire body the shock settling in, she would never hear Cedrics voice again, she would never hear his laugh, she would never be able to kiss his soft lips, she would never start a family with him, she would never see his face light up when he talked about something he loved, she would never hear his even breath that had become so comforting to her as she fell asleep, never again, never again. Even though he had promised.

Another long one! Except this was a sad one
