OMNISCIENT

"No no no no no" Charisma chanted as she ran to the mansion.

Her eyes filled with tears. Why her? Why Janet out of all people?

She wiped them away.

Hell no, she wasn't gonna let J win.

Even though he/she were pretty darn close to doing so.

She softly opened the door and there she was.

Janet lay in a pool of blood, covered in gunshots.

Considering she only heard one shot, the gun must have a silencer.

Her eyes fell on a piece of black metal and she froze.

That was no ordinary gun.

She felt around in her pocket and her suspicions were confirmed.

That was HER fucking gun.

Feeling guilty as hell, she carefully slid the gun into her boot.

"So where were you all at the time of the murder?"

"Sleeping, obviously" her dad snapped "It's 3 am!"

The man was not happy.

Will was sat there in his room, crying.

He'd walked down when Charisma called them and the expression on his face practically killed her.

He had gone into denial and depression within a few minutes.

Charisma wanted to go check up on him but her father stopped her.

"Charisma, you seem to be on these crime scenes a lot" Inspector Gomez eyed her over his notepad.

"Are you accusing my daughter?!" Jakub growled.

"Inspector Gomez, I've been staying at the little cabin next door for the past day."

The man raised his eyes and Charisma held up her phone with Chris' texts.

His texts had evolved to 'are you okay?' and 'i'm coming over'

Charisma's eyes widened at the latter. He couldn't come over! She looked vulnerable as hell and no one was supposed to see her that way.

Unfortunately for her, Chris' car pulled up just as the police were about to go.

He nodded respectfully at Gomez and looked around, confused.

"What happened?"

"I'll explain later. Wait at the cabin" Charisma said, while she walked up to her stepbrother's room.

Will was in hysterics.

"Aw, Will" Charisma wrapped her arms around him and he hugged her tighter.

"She's dead" The boy cried.

"Will" Charisma looked him in the eye and he gulped at the darkness in them.

"I want you to go to camp tomorrow and make her proud."

She grabbed his hands and he nodded.

"Trust me, whoever killed her? They're gonna wish they were never born"

Christopher was waiting for her in the cabin.

"So what actually happened?" He asked softly.

Charisma felt her lower lip quiver. She squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to cry.

"J killed Janet" She whispered and the room grew silent.

She felt the first tear fall down and Christopher said nothing but pulled her into a soothing hug.

Good. She didn't need sympathy, all she wanted was comfort.

And weirdly enough, he had given it to her on more than one occasion.
