Trigger Warning: Mentions of attempted kidnapping

3rd person's POV

Lilly was peacefully sleeping in her room when a man's reflection appeared through her window. He pulls out something from his back, and carefully sets it on the window allowing for him to open the window. He silently makes his way into the room, and pulls out a needle from a metal container.

With silent footsteps he makes his way to her bed as he gets closer he hears her soft snores. Until Lilly wakes up which was definitely not part of his plan. A shield immediately goes up around her, and she pushes herself out of bed maintaining a force field around her before creating a light dagger.

"Who the hell are you!" Lilly demanded.

"Silas," He simply replied.

"I'll give you 5 seconds to get the hell out of my room before

I turn your ass into a charcuterie board," Lilly threatened.

"Is the hostility really needed darling?" He questioned in a mocking tone.

"Is breaking into my room really needed," She shot back.

"Touche," Silas replied.

She throws a light dagger at him but it shatters upon hitting an invisible force. She scrunches her eyebrows in confusion. It should have hit him but it shattered which meant someone was protecting him. Anything she does against him wouldn't work she was essentially powerless against him.

"What the hell," She muttered.

"Sweetheart do you really think I came without protection," He taunted.

His eyes glow green, and Lilly falls to the ground holding her head in pain. Small whimpers slip past her lips, and he makes his way over to her. The pain began to become unbearable. It felt like lava was seeping through her veins. Her breathing was shallow, and her body began to give in.

Silas stops in front of her before bending down to her level. He carefully moves her hair away from her neck. Lilly let out another whimper as her hands fell from her head. She was struggling to keep her eyes open, and her breathing was more like gasps for breath. It was almost as if she was choking. He sighs, and sits on the ground carefully bringing her in his arms. Silas set the needle off to the side.

"I won't even need that if you keep this up. I am much

stronger than you, little one. Fighting will only make this

worse. It weakens the body which is why you're struggling

to breathe. Just give in, and your pain will stop," Silas said softly.

Her eyes flutter between open, and closed before closing for the last time. Her body falls limp in his arms, and he releases her from his mind control allowing for her breathing to go back to normal. He gently rubs her arm causing her to whimper as every touch felt like fire burning her.

Sweat dripped down her forehead, and she was extremely pale. Her body involuntary twitches in his arms. He gently soothes her before grabbing the needle. He puts it back inside the metal container. The hand that laid on the floor twitches once again, and he brings his hand up to gently stroke her cheek. His thumb gently trails her jaw as her chest evenly rises, and falls.
