3rd Person's POV

The elevator door to the society opened, and Catherine carried rushes in with Lilly in her arms. "I need a doctor now!" Catherine ordered. Within seconds agents were rushing off elsewhere. Upon hearing the urgency in Catherine's voice James rushes out of the training room next door.

"What's going—" Before James could finish his sentence he saw Lilly unconscious in Catherine's arms. "No. No. No," James muttered to himself running to the queen. He quickly takes Lilly from Catherine, setting her on the ground before grabbing Lilly's bracelet, and putting it on himself. He felt an uncomfortable tingling feeling spread throughout his body.

He however ignored the feeling, and did what Lilly trained him to do. To be able to use her magic if ever needed. He sets his hand on her chest, and a blue aura of magic surrounds his hand. "Come on, work dammit," James muttered. Lilly shoots up gasping for air. The magic around James's hand disappears, and James holds her close.

"Hey shhh it's okay, you're okay," James assured. Lilly was looking around in panic. Even more so when doctors rushed in the room. James cups her face into his hands. "Lilipad, look at me. Hey look at me, breathe. You're safe," James assured. When she looked at him he immediately noticed that her eyes were no longer their normal blue color.

They in fact were glowing a light orange which meant her empath powers were in full blast, and rather than feeling everyone's emotions her powers betrayed her. Rather than her feeling everyone's emotions everyone could see her emotions through her eye color. Anyone who knew about her, and her powers knew that orange meant fear.

It was much more than that. Lilly rarely gets truly scared but she didn't just look scared. She looked completely, and utterly terrified. Whatever she saw shook her to the core, and James knew that if she was scared everyone else should also be scared. "I need someone to check inmate 34's security footage, now!" Catherine ordered.

An agent pulled up the security footage only to reveal both cells were empty. Catherine's face paled in realization. One of the most dangerous inmates in the society had escaped the most secure prison there was. "Call everyone now! I need someone to add extra security to the palace in case any of this inmate is dumb enough to attack the heir. I need everyone who isn't a level 3 agent out, except James," Catherine ordered the agent.

Over half the agents left except the doctors. Now that she was calm she was safe to transfer to the medical wing. James follows Lilly into the medical wing making sure she arrives there safely before making his way back to the main area.

Meanwhile Catherine was going over security footage trying to figure out how the inmate escaped. She noticed that he had a device of sorts hidden in the tiles. How could the society have missed this? He was supposed to be under watch the entire time, and any suspicious activity was supposed to be investigated. Which means one of two things. Either the person watching the footage wasn't actually doing their job, or the person was working with the inmate.

James re-enters the room. "Doctors say they want to run some tests but physically she's fine. They just want to figure out why she passed out," James spoke up.

"I need you to manually call in all the agents," Catherine told him. She pulled up the logs for who was supposed to be watching the footage but only one name popped up. Elias Graves. "And I need you to bring Elias in for questioning," Catherine told James.

"Why would you need to do that," He questioned.

"He's a potential traitor," Catherine told him.
