She stood and looked through her desk. She gave up and sat back down on the floor. Theo followed suit. Jay giggled and rested her elbow on her knee. She rested her chin in her palm.

"So..what got you to teach physics..?" She asked.

"Oh! Well, it all started in year eight when the class was just starting to learn about chemistry.."

Jay nodded, Watching the way his lips moved when he spoke. The little way his front teeth showed when he smiled. The way his lip was trying to tug itself into a smile on the right side of his face.

He seemed oblivious to her. He was rambling on and on but to her...to her his voice became muffled and distant. Almost to that of an old jukebox in an old bar, playing in the distance and barely able to make out the words. Jay's icy blue gaze trailed up to his pine green and silvery grey eyes.

Though blind, his right eye was full of wonder and light. His pine colored one was almost that of a childlike wonder and thrall. Jay sighed a bit, closing her eyes and listening to the distant voice lull her away from reality.

"....Jay....Jay...Jay?" Her eyes flashed open.

"H-huh?" Theo cocked his brow.

"Were you even listening?" She nodded and acted as though she clung to every word that fell from his lips.
