Hi, my name is Rachel and I live in Boston, MA. As you have heard before, I have always wanted to open a cupcake shop! Today, I am going on a treasure hunt to find the perfect building to rent out and call my own. My real estate agent's name is Jackie, and I am meeting her at 1:00 to talk about exactly what I am looking for. The clock ticked slower than usual as I stared at it intently, like a dog staring at a juicy piece of steak. It was only 11:32, and I still had quite sometime before meeting with Jackie. Oh, I know how to kill time! I creaked down the hardwood stairs of my extremely tiny apartment and was greeted by 2 black eyes, whiskers, and a cute pink nose. Chester! My guinea pig that I have had for over two years and is very overweight. He is by far the best pet I have ever had. To kill time, I play with Chester and watch tv with him sometimes. I gathered a blue towel and carefully scooped him up from his house. I swaddled him loosely and set him on my lap, while getting the remote and turning the power on. I typed in the numbers "344" and was on "The Food Network" station. That's more like it, I thought to myself.
12:47 - After the episode, I unwrapped Chester from his warm and fuzzy blanket and put him back in his cage."It's time!" I screamed. I raced to my room and squirted perfume on myself and raced back into the kitchen. I grabbed my jacket, buttoned it, put on my grey beanie, and shut the door with much excitement. Then, I hopped into my car and drove to the "Dunkin Donuts" right down the street. I probably went over the speed limit, but that's alright. I opened the door to the donut shop and was fretted by the scent of brewing coffee and a smiling Jackie. She hugged me before I could even put both feet into the shop. "I can't wait to help you find a building this afternoon!" I can't admit, I'm really excited too. "Me too," I replied with a professional sounding tone. After chatting and eating for about a half hour, we decided to get to work. She showed me the options that were closest to my house and I was pleased! The first stop was a medium sized building with a pink striped awning. I really like that building, but the rent per month was 1,200. No way that was right for me. The next stop was a very tiny, shack looking place. Even though the rent was cheaper, it was way to small to run a business out of. The last stop was a medium sized store with a table and a few chairs out in the front. It looks very inviting from the outside, and before asking for the price, I knew that this was the place.
