My Mother Is Outside

[Dream]

I wake up, my mother is outside smoking. I look at her sad expression.

My brain tells me she and my father had split up. My brain flashes.

Next part.

I randomly end up in my room, its darker. My brother is sleeping in the same room. We shared a room for as long as I can remember. I hear a noise and immediately go over to the door I stop seeing some people I'm familiar with, I run back to my room and hide in the covers some how still seeing the people. Why isn't my dad here? My entire body is now in pain.

I wake and cry, I wake up my brother and I tell him what happened. I hadn't told my mother until years later, she said "when have I ever left you or told you guys I'd leave you?". I replied with "Almost every time you argue with dad one of you freak out and say you're leaving forever." I said it and walked away to push from any questions.
