I came back home. My stepmother was in the lounge, sitting across from my father. I silently sneaked through the lounge but she'd seen me. She instantly called my name.

"Ilsa!"

She almost shouted. I stopped. Then turned around to face her. Her one brow arched arrogantly, making her face all ugly and disgusting. I licked my lips. My father also seemed disappointed in me. I did not know why though.

"Y. Yeah.."

I almost mumbled. I hated being that much coward. But I could not help. That was natural. Because that was somehow "me".

"You stole the money, didn't you?"

Her question confused me. I squinted my eyes.

"What! No..! I did not! Mother, why are you being like this? I did not steal your money. In fact. I don't have any idea about it. I don't know about money. About your money."

My weak voice trembled at the last sentence. She was cruel. She made me suffer a lot. And this time I'd no idea what would she do.

"Stop saying lies!"

She took a step forward and slapped me. I jerked back and tripped over a stair. My father shook his head. All disappointed in me. He'd believed her at first hand. He did not believe her daughter. He believed her wife.

"I am not lying! I don't lie!"

My cracked voice echoed in the silent lounge. I could feel my eyes prickle. My throat itched.

"I don't lie. I never lie. I did not steal your money. I have no idea about it. You are making it all worse. You know that I don't steal. You know the truth then why.."

My voice caught in my throat. Itchy eyes dropped a few tears. My vision got blurry.

"Why are you doing this.!"

I cried. She came forward and jerked me up by my injured hand. I almost yelled due to the pain.

"You lie. You are a lair. You'd always stole my things but I neglected because of your father but this time. This time you made it worse. Now you will pay for this. Come with me."

She twisted me forward.

"Baba. I am telling the truth. Baba, I am not a lair. You know that. I can never lie. Baba listens to me. Baba!!"

I called him desperately but he'd decided not to answer me. Not to answer my obvious cries. I almost grumbled over the threshold. Her cold merciless eyes glared at me. I was on the pavement. Helpless and pathetic.

"You are a loser Ilsa. I always knew that you are a misfortune to our family. I always had the idea about your curse but I did not care at first. Now you've crossed your limits and you must endure the pain. Stay here the whole night. No dinner at all.!

"Wait. No!"

As she shut the door at my face. I hovered at the door. Desperately slamming it.

"Open it. I am hungry. I need dinner. For god's, sake opens the door."

I yelled but nothing happened. Nobody came to me. I was all alone. Tears were constantly rolling on my cheeks. But I could not help myself. I was pathetic. I was weak. I was stupid. I could not do anything. Suddenly my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took deep breaths and held the phone in front of my eyes.

Park Jimin calling.

I picked it up, even though I did not want to. My heavy breaths instantly stopped him.
