Chapter 3

I rushed back into the club hurriedly passing through a lot of bodies searching for Janessa. She was no where to be found and neither was Daniel. Something is terribly wrong and I can feel it in my bones. I was about to check upstairs when I'm stopped suddenly by Melody, a favorite date of Aiden. "What's up?" I ask Melody. She didn't looked drunk and I can't smell alcohol on her so that's good. "Have you seen Aiden? He said he needed to use the restroom but its been too long and I can't find him anywhere in the building" She asked me a slight concern passing through her eyes. Hold on she can't find Aiden?!?!?! I didn't believe that was possible

"Have you asked Nadia?" I say still trying to wrap around the fact how Aiden Jerkins can't be found especially on a day like this. " I can't find Nadia either" She responded.

OK that's not good.

"I'll find them" I reply. Melody nods in assurance and leaves. Well, since Melody has checked the whole building then maybe they're outside. I rush outside and I don't find them anywhere. Ok this has gotten strange. Maybe there's an issue with party crashers or something and if that's the case they all should be at the back of the club in the alley. I go back into the building and quietly crept to the back of the club as I didn't know the issue at hand. I got to the alley and hid behind and I saw JG, Daniel and both of my siblings standing at an end facing the same guy that got me the cocktail. Only this time with friends.  I Guess they're either party crashers or something more dangerous. 

All seemed normal with my family asking what they want and the guys giving creepy answers like fresh blood and disgusting  answers like new pets. Then suddenly after series of threats I saw the guys elongate their canines which were now  more like what we all know as fangs. I was too shocked to move or breathe as I saw the devilish smirk on their faces and the red glint in their eye that was pure evil at it's best. The worse part was the evil glint in their eyes failed to shake me or create any fear or terror but instead fascinated me.

Their fangs were so white and clean that I just wanted to take one and keep it as a souvenir and the cocky grin on their faces gave me an adrenaline rush. Everything seemed exciting until I faced the one shocker that brought down my adrenaline and my amusement.

In front of my very eyes  I saw the family I once could say with pride I knew better than the back of my palm as their bones snapped, cracked and reformed till I saw wolves. Red wolves to be specific. 

My heart dropped to my stomach. Are those people my family?!?!  My brain and my body were in total disagreement as my brain rooted me to the spot and my body wanted me to get the heck out of there. I watched the fight until suddenly I felt myself being carried and My head was suddenly hit harshly against the wall and black spots started to appear blocking my vision slightly. What the fuck?! It was then I saw the same creep that approached me in the club strangling  my neck and for once all the insane training I had gotten since I was nine years old came into good use. 

On instinct, I managed to pry his hands off my neck and kick him in the balls so hard with my heels that I'm sure I permanently damaged it. Using his moment of weakness I grabbed him and flung him to the other side of the alley hitting the wall. Damn I wonder where that strength  came from.

I try to take off running but in the blink of an eye I'm dragged and my head is hit harshly on the wall for a second time. The  black dots were back and I was seeing less visibly. "I like her. She's feisty." The creep that approached me said as he was wanted to stand but had his head ripped off immediately by one of the red wolves a.k.a my "family". "Oh now we're keeping her as an exchange" the one strangling me said. I use my hands to drag his head close to mine and collided our heads together  using the temporary distraction to pry the dude off me and slit his neck with the dagger underneath my dress and threw his head on his friend which he easily dodged. Unfortunately before I could take off my head was hit on the wall again and I could feel the blood rushing out. I was getting really dizzy and my vision was covered almost completely with black spots. " Let her go!!" Aiden boomed in that usual authoritative tone of his that makes others bow but Nadia and I laugh. It was then I noticed that he was no longer a wolf but a human. A nude one as a matter of fact.

Lord, If there's anyway I can forget the sight I just saw then please help me because this is a trauma too heavy for me to bear.

"Oh really?" the dude said examining me like a piece of fresh meat in a 5-star restaurant. " Too bad I'm gonna keep her" He said and without waiting a second longer he bit a huge chunk out of my neck and was instantly killed by the wolf I remember Janessa change too due to the single strand of white amongst the red fur but right after my whole world went black.

Ok so warning to all readers!!!

I won't be able to update regularly due to my extremely tight schedule so I might just post like six chapters in two months for now. 😔
