I sighed loudly staring up at the ceiling of my room
I should of told jaemin how I felt but it's just if I start dating him I'll have to lose the money for the bet
I smiled and held my fist up
"IM WILLING TO RISK IT"
I said loudly and thought about jaemin
Jaemin pov~
I saw my dad walk into the house really drunk I sighed and tried to help him get into the living room but what he did next surprised me I felt a sharp pain on my left cheek
I looked up in shock
"Dad..."
My lips started bleeding
He looked at me in disgust
"I'm leaving you and your mother I've found someone better"
I wasn't pissed because he was leaving me I was pissed because he was leaving my mom
"So your just gonna leave her like a coward such a dumbass"
My dad walked closer to me and punched me in the stomach
"You disgusting piece of shit shut your mouth I've always hated you"
He turned away and left not even looking back
A few minutes later my mother came home but I hide my pain so she wouldn't worry I wanted to tell her that dad was leaving her but I just couldn't hurt her like that so I kept it to myself and the next day I arrived at school
I hope no one notices my lip
I thought to myself as I walked into my math class
The first person to look at me was jeno
"Jaemin what happened to your lip"
This is the first time I've seen him this serious
"Oh nothing I just fell down the stairs I'm pretty clumsy"
I laughed awkwardly and rubbed my neck
He grabbed my hand and took me to the bathroom
"Down the stairs my ass like you expect me to believe that bullshit of an excuse"
I sighed and sat him down on the bathroom floor
"Recently my dad has been cheating on my mom but today my dad came home drunk and when I went to help him he beat me up and said he was gonna leave my mom for another women b-but...
I started crying hard
"I couldn't tell her jeno I couldn't do it I don't wanna hurt her I know she works hard for me and I know she loves me but jeno she doesn't deserve to be hurt like this"
Jeno pulled me into his chest and hugged me tightly
"Shhhh it's ok i got you"
Jeno pulled me away from his chest and wiped my tears with his thumb
"Let's skip school today"
I nodded my head
Jeno pulled out his phone and called Jisung
"Hey can you tell the guys I'm not gonna be there I have something important to do"
Jisung said yes and hung up the phone
Jeno held out his hand
"Come on NaNa"
I hesitantly took his hand as he led me out of the school
"Let's go cheer you up"
We walked into an ice cream shop
"NaNa what flavor do you want"
I looked at the menu
"Vanilla"
Jeno smiled and went to order our stuff we waited a while until the waitress arrived and handed us our food but this wasn't any random waitress it was renjun
"Oh what are you guys doing here"
Renjun looked at them sadly
I looked at jeno with a small smile
"NoNo just wanted to get some ice cream"
Renjun looked at me confused
"Who is NoNo"
I pointed at jeno
"We gave each other couple nicknames"
We both smiled at each other
Renjun rolled his eyes and sat the ice cream on the table
"Enjoy"
He said in a not so cheerful tone But we just thought he was having a bad day at work so we didn't bother him
After we finished we went to jeno's house
"You wanna watch a movie"
Jeno sat on the couch with a blanket
"Yeah sure what are we watching"
Jeno smirked
"You'll see"
We both sat down on the couch huddled in blankets I was looking at the movie and it gave me a creepy vibe so I scooted closer to jeno
Jeno looked at me and chuckled a bit
"Is NaNa scared"
I scoffed
"N-no I just wanted to be warmer that's all"
Jeno smirked and looked at the tv waiting for the jump scare and right when it came he tickle jaemin and scared the hell out of him
I jumped and looked at jeno
Jeno laughed loudly
I laughed and started hitting him
"Your such an idiot"
Jeno smiled and jumped on me tickling me as I laughed hard my face getting red
But when I went to move my arms he pinned them above my head and looked into my eyes and that's when tension built
I started into his eyes and he stared into mine
"J-jeno"
He leaned in and kissed me on the lips and pulled away sitting next to me
"I hope things with your family get better if you have anything you wanna talk about you can come to me because I really care about you NaNa"
I smiled gratefully and hugged jeno
"Thank you I should be heading home now"
I stood up and walked home when I entered the house my mom was at her laptop sleeping
She must have been working all night
I checked the time and sat in front of her computer finishing her work
I hope things get better for us mom
