Meanwhile on the other side of the ship, Lime was priming the sheilds when suddenly a rumbling sound came from the vent beside him.
He quickly turned to see what was making the noise. When he realized it was the vent, he freaked out. He'd seen horror movies like this before. What was he gonna do?! Lime nervously ran a hand through his dirty blonde hair. He was cornered. No escape.
The vent opened, and before him was none other than...
Red. Red's head poked out of the vent.
"Red what the fuck man?"
The scarlet astronaut climbed out of the ventilation shaft.
"My bad. I was cleaning the vents in the cafe and got stuck, so I crawled all the way here to find a lose vent."
Lime face palmed. "Ok...but why are you cleaning vents? Your task was to fix the wires in electrical."
Red grabbed his cleaning supplies from out of the vent.
"Yeah but electrical is scary and you said you couldn't go with me because you were busy."
Lime was tired, and quite frankly wasn't in the mood to deal with his crewmate.
"Yeah whatever just go clean somewhere else where you can't give me a heart-attack."
Red saluted. "Eye eye Captain!" He hopped back in the vent, which closed behind him.
Brown frantically raced around the ship trying to find his gooey alien friend.
"Shit shit shit shit shi-"
He slammed into Purple, who was walking around the corner.
Purple fell and dropped her tablet. Brown stuttered an apology, while eyeing the vent behind her nervously.
"Brown watch where you're going." Brown dismissed her, still watching the vent.
Black also turned the corner.
Shit.
"Were you playing Pokémon Go on your tablet again?" Purple asked. "We talked about this brown." Black face palmed. Julie mimicked his movements.
Suddenly the vent next to black started rumbling. Shit. If that thing was still in there, and black saw it, he was dead.
Luckily for him, Red emerged from the vent instead.
"Red what the hell? I told you to fix wires!" Black scolded him. "Electrical is scary! And Lime was being a meanie and wouldn't go with me!"
Julie face palmed.
Brown snickered, but quickly realized that red was in the vents WITH the alien slug. And if he saw it, and told black....
"Hey Red uh-I'll go to electrical with you! In fact let's go right now!"
Brown pulled red out of the vent, and dragged him down the hall.
Black looked at Purple. "Did you even do your tasks?" She looked at him. "No. I actually need help with my admin card. I've been swiping it for an hour and a half and it keeps saying bad read."
"How did any of you become astronauts?!"
