shadowclan is solely brown tabbies with broad shoulders and amber eyes. the only pattern variation that remains is in shecats, and in the other clans.
Mistystar still lives, her son long dead, Willowshine is still the medicine cat.
they have figured out fire, and the same forbidden love story keeps replaying.
Bluestar and Yellowfang now rule starclan, their authority is unchallenged, and they are worshipped as gods. Firestar has been shoved out of the spotlight, replaced with 8 of his 9 lives formed into 1 cat, a blank, soulless version of himself. this clone is worshipped and heralded as a great hero forever.
lgbt and mentally ill cats have been shoved out, and any cat that shows a hint of behaviour out of line is immediately exiled.
the clans have become basically dystopian, any cat who steps out of line of the blank background character is exiled. every generation, 4 cats are selected as the protagonists, and if any cat doesn't treat them as the most special and greatest, they are killed.

here's another concept to add, from the protagonists' point of view, everything is normal.
they know nothing of the horrific behaviour of starclan and their clanmates, it seems like a warped and all-too perfect version of what we see in the books.
