Upon walking up to the mansion, George opened the front door to let Orion inside. "Shall I take your coat?" He asked stiffly.
"No," replied Orion, walking directly past the butler. He wanted to get this over with. Down the hall, through the now empty sitting room and into Mon's office. Inside, there were several people sitting around a table, clearly in the middle of a meeting.
"What do you want?!" Orion spoke loudly and angrily.
All eyes turned to him in some form of disgust. Compared to the crisp, clean, professional demons sitting at the table, Orion must have looked like a beggar from the street. He hoped they could smell his musk of liquor, sweat and sex too.
Before anyone could say a word, George burst through the door - "Orion! You got away from me before I could tell you Mr. Mon was in a meeting. Please come with me."
"No," Orion replied. "Mon, you called me, I'm here, what do you want?"
Mon only smiled and flipped a pen between his fingers. "Everyone out." The shocked faces and gasps were enough to cause a twinge of joy inside Orion.
"George," continued Mon, "please see to it that our guests are made comfortable until I am done here."
George bowed and followed out the small crowd of people, shutting the door behind him.
"Finally," Mon let out a sigh. "I was hoping you would make a big entrance. These cronies of Lucifer's are such a bore. All they want to do is talk about business."
"Please tell me you did not call me here just to hang out. I have things to do."
The Prince breathed in deep - "You reek of alcohol."
"Nice of you to notice," Orion retorded snarkily.
Mon stood up and walked over to the bar - "Late night? At someone else's house?" He smirked as he poured himself a drink.
At first Orion refused to answer, scowling at the prince looking so smug. "I don't have to answer that," he said unsurely. "It was before our binding went into effect."
Mon chuckled, "it doesn't matter now. I finally have you all to myself." He sauntered back over to Orion and ran a hand through his hair, tugging his head gently to the side.
The younger demon's knees went weak as Mon brought his lips to the exposed neck and kissed gently. As if he had no control, Orion grabbed at Mon's pockets, pulling him closer. Embarrassed and angry, he tried to push away, but the prince's grasp was tight. .
"That's cute," he cooed into his ear. Heat rose up through Orion's body and the shame was visible on his face.
"I don't know why I didn't do this before. I should have realized all it would take for you to be mine would be a little bit of blood."
Teeth grinding, Orion responded, "We have a deal. This is only temporary." It was much more difficult than he expected to keep his head clear with Mon next to him. He had bargained with bindings in the past, but he had never been prey to one until now. It was difficult to believe how easily bound demons followed their "masters" but now he saw first hand just how hard it was to have one single independent thought in Mon's presence.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and in walked George. "Master," he began, "they are here."
Mon didn't move, still holding Orion against him. "And just when we were starting to have fun," he said with a smile. "I hate to do this but I do have another meeting that is very important. But you'll be back tonight with Knox and we will begin to discuss our plan."
